Ha, this is what I get for not keeping up with the trends. :oops:ledzep wrote:
They've posted other "concerns" of theirs that were not band related on their official site...I won't make any assumptions until they are official.

Yup. Will be interesting to see how this affects Pearl Jam though. Especially if they record new material and reform properly as opposed to a short reunion tour. Exciting news though, great start to the new year!!

Just commented that Soundgarden should tour with PJ.0 -
whats the link for these soundgarden boards??0
-
 8-)

I'll believe it when I see SG on a stage
I hope this is a just one off tour. I'm really starting to like matt in pearl jam. It suck for PJ to find another new drummer. What good drummers are left from seattle bands.Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
Sammi: Wanna just break up?0 -
Some things are better left in the past.. Soundgarden included.0

best new years day news ever!0

Soundgarden has always been one of my favorite bands...I'm so happy to hear that they are getting back together...my only concern is...hopefully this does not effect Pearl Jam's tour this year!!! We need more Pearl Jam dates in North America besides just the Jazz festival.8/29/00, 7/3/03, 5/24/06,6/28/08 & 6/30/08, 10/9/09,10/28/09, 10/30/09 & 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 5/17/10, 5/18/10, 5/20/10 & 5/21/10, 10/23/10 & 10/24/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 9/23/11, 9/22/12, 9/30/12, 7/16/13, 7/19/130

I have to believe that they will support PJ for at least a few shows...the advertising from the PJ camp makes me feel like there must be a stronger connection than just Matt playing for SG....thats what I hope anyway

It would be cool if they did a small tour.
I kinda hope they don't try to put out an album though. Seems like that would greatly push back the time of any upcoming PJ tours.
Also, I'm pretty sure Matt and SG know Chris well enough to realize that anything more than a few shows would be more than they can put up with.0 -
Hopefully its just a small tour or side project. Pearl Jam are on fire right now. They don't need a has been band like Soundgarden slowing them down while they are still relevant. Pearl Jam should be pumping as many albums out as they can over the next few years. Their days as a rock band with high energy are limited.mca47 wrote:It would be cool if they did a small tour.
