By the way, Arias is the guy Texas acquired in the Alex Rodriguez trade. Texas had the choice of him or Cano and picked this guy.

Beltran is clearly not 100% healthy as he can't drive the ball at all from the left side....and can't run a lick either..shut this fucker down and hope to get something out of him in the final year of his contract..

it's beltran's knee brace that's cause the problem for him. he will have a breakout year next season. players always do well in their walk year.

its nice to see ollie p come outta the witness protection program. i was starting to get worried i'd see him on milk cartons soon.

Santana done for the season, and maybe forever as another surgery awaits..I believe this will be the 3rd one on his throwing arm? Sadly, this could be it for our guy..

Another reason it makes me happy the Phillies don't give pitchers more than 3 year contracts.

Santana out forever made me laugh. At least ollie perez is waiting for a rotation spot

Game was classic last night. I thought myy buddy was gonna storm the field and kill all the mets. I beven got him to sayafter the ibanez play. Great times he wanted the phils to win it all --he hates yanks. He was calling duda, doody after the ibnez play. Great times

Your buddy needs to calm the fuck down. The rivalry is obviously dead for now..yeah, go after Duda and the other kids that have played like 4 games on the major league level....well, at least he hates the Yankees..

You must be really bored to be reading pages of this lonely and pathetic Mets thread in which you otherwise don't care about at all..and no team/thread would take me for a bag of balls anyway..

i think David Wright is the most over-rated player in baseball

he pads the stats when the pressure is off

everybody else on this team is held accountable except for him

mets aren't going to the torre route. to old and to much money and front office isn't high on him. mets top choices are backman and bobby v. if bobby v comes here he's gonna want full control which means the front office would have to move omar somewhere else inside the organization.

I'm actually going to the game tomorrow, didn't pay for the seats but a former neighbor who moved from the area wanted to go since he's a longtime met fan. maybe I'll see the first no-hitter in team history..
