i thought they were there to protest health care....make up your mind please. there is no official count because it must not have been a significant enough turnout. maybe your bravest network of all fox has some numbers on this?? it was no 1.5 million though. g under p was there and he said it was nowhere near that...for some reason i find him to be a more credible source than you.

aerial I don't know how many times you've been to DC for any marches or any other events here on the Mall. I've been to all sorts of events on the Mall from protest marches, million man marches, Aids marches, Aids Rides events to all sorts of Peace Marches (Israel/Palestine) etc. All with varying crowd sizes, enthusiasm and energy. I've attended them with friends, some foes and many with my daughter till she stopped because of pain in her feet. It became harder to carry her over the years but she's a trooper though. :D

So I've been on a few including the Tea Party March on 9/12 and I have to say I was surprised they were as many people as I saw. I walked along with them on the march just to experience what the opposition to this administration had to say and how they were going to carry themselves. On some of my other protest marches I wondered about this very thing so I took the opportunity to make sure to be there.

I must admit they were fired up with enthusiasm from all over the country but the crowd level you've suggested seems way out of line from what I saw. The crowd level you speak of is on the levels of The Obama Inauguration . Grant you I wasn't there I watched from Florida but my sister was there and happened to be walking down Constitution Avenue. She got called over to a Rolls Royce and guess who rolls down the window Aretha Franklyn not long after she finished singing. In the end here it really doesn't matter to me what the hell the crowd size was, I was there, you were there and you and your Tea Party voiced what you wanted. I'm just glad we both are given the opportunity to protest in peace I just hope those voices are being heard by those in power. Oh btw I've already protested Obama's aggression in the war in Afghanistan, war under any administration is still war and the consequences that come with it.

    Peace

I've been asked this question a many many times and I've used the same as a moderator on Michael Franti's music website. Some think it's a sexual thing but far from it. :D:lol::D
Well mine is not too difficult either. Mine g under p (Grace Under Pressure) comes from a term I use in life and in the work that I do. Working in the medical field with a life at times in my hands being calm, cool and graceful is best to get the job done and done well. My first live concert for the band RUSH was the

what exactly are the real values of the united states of america??

Help me please? I'm just a stupid liberal. Please tell me what the real values of the U.S.A. are? And exactly how is our president destroying them?? Maybe you can change my ways.

Gee, let's see. How about the right to choose our own health care ( if Obama had it his way he would destroy all private ins. companies, he supports single payer ), how about the right to express opinions(when Obama was first signed into office he stated over and over not to listen to Beck, Hannity, or Rushbo....wouldn't that be up to the viewer?). How about the right to ask questions and demand the truth( reporters at Copenhagen were shut down and forced to leave when asking any questions about the lies that have surfaced). How about the right to be heard,( people demonstrate their anger at rallies and they get labeled as teabaggers). How about our Inalienable Rights, God himself bestowed our rights and liberties upon us, this government wants to create our rights as if they were God, they want to make everybody equal, share the wealth.

    according to merriam-webster
    value-
    Pronunciation: \ˈval-(ˌ)yü\
    Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, worth, high quality, from Anglo-French, from Vulgar Latin *valuta, from feminine of *valutus, past participle of Latin valēre to be of worth, be strong — more at wield
    Date: 14th century
1 : a fair return or equivalent in goods, services, or money for something exchanged
2 : the monetary worth of something : market price
3 : relative worth, utility, or importance <a good value at the price> <the value of base stealing in baseball> <had nothing of value to say>
4 : a numerical quantity that is assigned or is determined by calculation or measurement <let x take on positive values> <a value for the age of the earth>
5 : the relative duration of a musical note
6 a : relative lightness or darkness of a color : luminosity b : the relation of one part in a picture to another with respect to lightness and darkness
7 : something (as a principle or quality) intrinsically valuable or desirable <sought material values instead of human values — W. H. Jones>

according to this definition, #7 is the only one that applies to this discussion and the things you listed may be intrinsically valuable or desirable to YOU, but may not be for ALL of america. its a much more difficult question than you might think, but i appreciate your efforts. IMO the things you list are more ideals and rights rather than "values of america"....

i wonder if they have fixed all the holes? before 9/11 Rumsfeld admitted trillions were unaccounted from the defense budget over the years, they were supposed to start a thorough investigation but then 9/11 happened and it was forgotten about
