its fun to blame bush for all of this, because he was a fucking moron. if you wanted to get technical, the blame lies with the people that voted for him, and the 5 memebers of the supreme court who gave him the job in the first place....but the situation is what it is. obama is continuing bush's policies and i will hold him accountable in the next election, but it is too early to tell what the man is going to do. obma blames bush in public to tell the people that he inherited a shit sandwich and that it is going to take time to make things better. how soon the conservatives forgot how we got here....but then again, obama is continuing some of bush's horribly failed policies, so who is worse, the guy who screwed up initially, or the guy who continues the screw ups of the predecessor?

Did you miss this or something? For fuck sakes dude....you say you blame Bush for not "intervening". Here is a fucking example for you...if someone murders somebody do you hold the murderer responsible or the cop for not stopping it fast enough? Are you aware of how stupid that sounds. YES YES YES YES YES a person should be held responsible for there fucking actions YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!Bush did not intervene and stop the so called meltdown, get the fuck over it! All i'm saying when I bring up Obama is , how does that justify spending a trillion fucking dollars that has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for jobs or the economy? IT FUCKING DOESN"T....that is how logic works!!!!!! If you want to get nasty then fuck it, i'll get nasty.
    ...
My gosh... THAT was one of the most comical rants I have ever read!!! Really... funny, funny stuff.
It's not even worth going over facts with you... such as the almost one trillion dollars spent on Iraq... the 90 or so billion that just disappeared over there... or the fact that the initial bail out of Wall Street was done in the final months of 2008, 4 months prior to Obama taking the oath of office. I won't argue facts with you because facts are wasted on you... you don't seem to believe in facts and rely on opinion instead.
You seem to be able to get over the fact that Bush's failures to rein in out of control banking practices lead to the meltdown of 2007/2008... which resulted in the situaton that exists today....and all you can ever come up with is the opinion that President Obama is destroying America. You just cannot see the fact that stimulus spending would not have to be an option... if the economy wasn't so fucked up. You are a funny, funny boy.
And that murderer stuff... classic. I can always rely of the lowest I.Q. in the house to fall back on the murderer analogy... it always seems to come to the murderer analogy. I was waiting for it... but, seriously... i thought it would make an appearance much earlier.
    Thanx again.

nobody knows if that will even make it into the final bill. if it does its really simple, either buy the insurance or pay the tax. if you do neither you will be breaking the law. its like car insurance. if you dont have it you are breaking the law. i doubt they will throw people in jail over this.

That's bullshit... There's not one shred of evidence that Bush DELIBERATELY LIED to the american people, and that's noy why we went to Iraq in the first place.

Are you being obtuse? The numerous lies of the Bush administration re: Iraq have been thoroughly documented. Here's one. And a more comprehensive one. And a still more comprehensive one.

Besides, exactly WHY did we go into Iraq in the first place? When this was all going down, the Bush administration kept changing its story - first it was because Saddam Hussein supposedly had ties to Al-Qaeda and helped them carry out the 9/11 attacks (proven false), then they said it was because Saddam Hussein had WMD (also proven false), and then finally because we needed to "liberate the Iraqi people" hence the aptly misnamed "Operation Iraqi Freedom". When intelligence didn't suit their needs, they created their own intelligence division to create fudged data. They relied on extremely untrustworthy sources, with some of their data obtained through torture. Even the British noticed that the Bush administration was more interested in going to war with Iraq regardless of whether it was justified or not.

Did Bush "deliberately lie"? No idea. But as the Decider, either he was completely oblivious to the truth or he deliberately lied - and neither situation shines a good light on him. Then again, one could always claim that Dick "5 deferment chickenhawk" Cheney was really in charge then.

then there was also the time Bush said
"We just heard the Prime Minister talk about the new report. I would remind you that when the inspectors first went into Iraq and were denied -- finally denied access, a report came out of the Atomic -- the IAEA that they were six months away from developing a weapon. I don't know what more evidence we need."

which isn't what the report said at all, in fact the IAEA's new report said Iraq didn't even have an operational program...Bush then claimed he misspoke and meant an IAEA report from '98....only problem it was taking even the '98 report out of context as that stated Iraq was:
"six to 24 months away from developing a weapon before the Gulf War in 1991, but its efforts to produce weapons-grade uranium were largely crippled by the war and subsequent inspection regime."

how is that not a lie??

i could see him just not knowing both of the IAEA reports didn't say that....people in his cabinet complained that he was uninterested in things and never asked questions (and then was fired) and bush himself admitted on TV that he never read things or looked into them, he only relied on his advisers telling him what he needed to know....i remember 1 townhall meeting a girl asked him about cuts he just made to student loans a few days before and Bush had no idea what she was talking about and asked if she was sure!

so, while i could believe that was Bush was lied to himself, to argue he didn't lie in that case is arguing semantics, in my opinion.

Something else to consider... which is often ignored... is the Republicans had both houses from 1994 to 2006. Remember the Newt Gingrich 'Contract With America'? The Gingrich/Tom Delay years cover a period that has spanned the September 11th Attacks, both Wars and the failure to regulate the home mortgage and banking/financial institution metldowns.
I just cannot see one minority Congressman out of 535 Senators and Congressmen being responsible for everything. Someone needs to explain that to me becuase i just don't understand how that works.

you can pretty much stand in the senate, close your eyes, point and say 'that fucker had some part in it!' and be correct.

it's not some gay democrat who can be a dick to those he disagrees with, it's not all Bush's or Obama's or Clinton's....it's there's all but zero accountability unless some crime is committed and even then they get away with it a lot of times. they are ineffectual at anything but running their mouths and pointing at the other side, oh and finding ways to waste our tax money and give it to their friends and campaign investors...Delay and his remapping districts and all the other things...it's sad how many of our elected representatives should be in jail

i remember the contract with america ugh :?

i was waiting somewhere and they had fox's satellite radio station on and it was feb or march last year, so Obama was in office at the most not even 3 full months and they were going on and on about Obama and the deficit and your kids will owe this much of it and blah blah blah did they forget when Clinton left office we had a surplus and then someone in between Clinton and Obama took us to a record deficit?? really??? they kept throwing Barney Frank's name around, too, and Pelosi....

if only people were more interested in understanding the other side instead of proving them wrong and putting them down
