He's a strong player but the 1st pick may dictate the 2nd.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I believe he measured at 6'2 at the combine. I'd prefer some length at that position unless the last name is Iverson.

Unlike Gordon, he'll probably be there at 10 though.

Lets say they have the 2nd pick and Wiggins goes first. Anyone willing to gamble with the big man at 2? Or do you play it safe and take Jabari?

under this scenario I'd probably go with Parker. Embid has a big upside but I am very wary of a big man with a bad back.

I'm right ther with you on Embid. Too RISKY, though you know the Sixers LUCK, Embid will end up with the Lakers and end up being a HOF>LOL!

I wonder about Gary Harris: i think he missed some games last year with different injuries. I don' think he's playing at the combine?

there was hardly any chance the pelicans were moving up. to go through this past season and end up 3 is very disappointing to me. but there is an abundance of talent to go around.

    fuck the nba.

I hope just take whichever of the top 3 is still there although I think Hinkie is the kind of guy who will try to prove how smart he is and make moves.

Would he do something like trading for Kevin Love?

no way.....now signing him next summer ('15) when he's a fa is something he might do.

I like the way you think, but doubt Kevin Love would come to Philly.

But would the Sixers team be enticing enough for Love to come here?

well....that is pretty much impossible to answer at this point. haha......depends on who they get next month and in fa.....and how everyone gels with mcw and nerlens next year.

they will have tons of cap space and a, hopefully, promising young team to build with at that point.

The Sixers are looking good in that regard(lots of cap space) and MCW, and HOPEFULLY Noel will be good too, plus the picks they get this year.

What's the guess how the top 3 go?

    Wiggins?
    Embid?
    Parker?

I'd be kind of surprised if the Cavs don't take Wiggins but who knows with them. They can fuck up a wet-dream>LOL!

What about the 5 picks they have in the 2nd round? Could they get LUCKY and get a serviceable player? (I'm sure if the Spurs had that many 2nd-rounders they would find 2 players and one of them would be really GOOD).
  • The JugglerThe Juggler Posts: 48,908
there's a rumor that the kings want to trade the 8th pick for a veteran. maybe thad? apparently the two teams were in talks last year about thad but they traded with the pelicans instead....

can you imagine 3, 8 and 10? haha
