wow that was an interesting game. Pretty sloppy on both teams. Easy layups and ally-oops missed. Sixers couldn't make their free throes. Boston played pretty ugly for awhile and the Sixers were actually up by 20 at one point. Wells Fargo was only about half full.

So what are our chances of getting the #1 spot? 20%? And the Bucks have a 25% shot? Is that right?

So what are our chances of getting the #1 spot? 20%? And the Bucks have a 25% shot? Is that right?

Here's a rundown of the odds at the No. 1 pick, which will be determined in the May 20 lottery:

    1. Milwaukee Bucks (15-67): 25.0% chance for No. 1 pick

    2. Philadelphia 76ers (19-63): 19.9%

    3. Orlando Magic (23-59): 15.6%

    T-4. Boston Celtics* (25-57): 10.3%

    T-4. Utah Jazz* (25-57): 10.3%

    6. Los Angeles Lakers (27-55): 6.3%

    7. Sacramento Kings (28-54): 4.3%

    8. Detroit Pistons (29-53): 2.8%

    9. Cleveland Cavaliers (33-49): 1.7%

    10. New Orleans Pelicans (34-49): 1.1%

    11. Denver Nuggets** (36-46): 0.8%

    12. New York Knicks** (37-45): 0.7%

    13. Minnesota Timberwolves (40-42): 0.6%

    14. Phoenix Suns (48-34): 0.5%

    I like those odds.

To avoid tanking they should just do this shit like we do in my fantasy football draft - since we went to a keeper league, the bottom 4 in the W/L record are put into a bingo ball drawing but we do it in reverse order, to prevent tanking (out of 12 teams, #9 seed gets the most balls and last plast/#12 seed gets the least balls). Boom. Done. I should be commissioner of the NBA.

i love gordon's defense....if that pelican's pick turns into 6 or 7, he might be there.

I dont understand why anyone would take a guy who cant shoot in the top ten (someone will, i just hope that since the sixers now have a real gm it wont be them...and since the new gm is a genius ive been waiting for for years, we have nothing to worry about)

Discussing taking gordon in the top 10 makes no sense. Unless we are on this board. He is the only guy i dont want them to take. Iguodala 2.0. Philly fans...sigh

    I fucking love sam hinkie.

Embiid, he gone! Come on down Jabari Parker, although I think I like Randle more now. I wouldn't might getting James Young somewhere later in the draft.

LOL>For Parker to come on down(that's a good one). I want him to come on down too.

I think James Young might be a good pick too later in the draft, but will he be there?

I do like Parker more right now(TODAY), because he's more of a polished player. He does need to work on his D though.

Randle is good, but if he doesn't work on that right hand, how good will he become?

Embid might have the highest ceiling of all 3 though, but it's a crap-shoot. But then again, it's all pretty much a crap-shoot now-a-days>LOL!

Noah Vonleh of Indiana MIGHT end up being pretty good. I wish i saw more Indiana games though.

I think Adrien Payne of Michigan St. is under-rated, from the mock drafts i saw.
I really like Aaron Gordon at Arizona. only downside is terrible free throw shooting but this guy is going to be a stud. I like him more than Randle for the NBA.
    Funny.

    Give me randle

    Thanks

umm, andre iguadala has been one of the best defenders in the game for a solid decade. the problem sixers fans had was that he's not the guy you want leading your team. on a good team, he's what you want as a 2nd or possibly 3rd option while giving you lock down defense for 48 minutes.

yeah, that's worthy of being a top 10 pick. think it's safe to assume sam hinkie recognizes the importance of good defense. advanced stats guys, like mr. hinkie, have always loved iggy: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1921033-andre-iguodala-proves-old-school-nba-stats-are-dead

if gordon is available with the sixers 2nd pick, there's no way you don't take him. he'll probably be gone by then though, as will randle.

--and let's not forget that hinkie took a point guard who can't shoot as his first pick last year and the dude went out and won rookie of the year....while shooting 40%.

he shot 46% from the field and 36% from the 3 playing between perimeter and inside and is fantastic on the break. 2 assists and 8 rebounds per game. i watched him a lot this year. yes his ft's suck but that can be improved. guy will be an all-star in the NBA. will be one of the top 3 players in this draft.
