yeah it's all your fault :x

they can't afford to lose to these scrub teams that they've been crushing all year. beat the wiz and raptors tonight and they're still in first.

only 3 more home games left.

I'll admit that I Haven't been watching a lot of the games lately, a lot of scheduling conflicts, but what the eff is going on with this team? IS Evan not starting any more? I guess Hawes being back isn't helping much.
    Alright, alright, alright!

you guys just aren't that good ... expectation were never realistic ... you got off to a good start with a soft schedule and having some continuity ... as the games start to matter - the talent level which has always been lacking is starting to show ... having said that - there are lot of bad teams in the association this year many of which are in the eastern conference - so, it's all relative ...

As a whole the NBA is subpar compared to the other major sports. The one on one game blows. Barely anyone knows how to excute an offensive set. The players come in too young, yada yada yada .........I could on on and on.

    AI9 needs to go.

people's expectations got too big after the hot start. that 20-9 start drew in a bunch of peole who haven't watched the sixers in years.

i thought they were talented enough to win about 36 games, which is where they should end up if they stop losing to all these scrub teams that they normally crush. last night and the wizards losses are just unacceptable and will probably cost them the divsion.

evan still starts. great game on tuesday. epipically bad one last night.

Stick a fork in em. I really feel bad for doug collins.

This team had better be ready to rip this roster apart this offseason. Major, major changes need to be made. The way this franchise operates I'm not expecting anything to change

this echos what I've been saying about this team for the last few years. Core isn't as good as most sixer fans thought. They are going nowhere fast. I hate rooting for such ineptitude. They suck.

On the bright side that's probably where we all would have assumed they'd be when the season started. Plus now we know that they may have some potential for the upcoming years.

    what potential?

I got an email about a playoff pre-sale today. Pretty funny

This team needs to make massive changes and start over. Again

They were blowing out some of the best teams in the NBA there for awhile, if that's not potential then what is? I'm sure you'll say that it was a fluke but I don't think it was. I just think they're youth/inexperience caught up with them towards the end of the season, they didn't know how to handle having one of the best records. Not sure why I'm even trying to talk to you about it though, you just find negativity in everything and you'll never agree with anyone who has anything positive to say. Also not sure why you continue to post in this thread, everyone that reads it is beyond giving a shit what you have to say.

they blew out chicago, SA, miami, OKC?? I must have missed that. Also, the wins that occurred in 2011 pretty much mean zero at this point.

They were 500 last year and got the 7 seed. What are they on pace for this year? More of the same. With a young team they should be progressing, but that hasn't happened in over a decade.

I understand that people want to find a silver lining in things and look at situations optimistically. That's fine. However in certain scenarios this can lead to blind optimism, which is what I think you are guilty of here. Look at the big picture of this franchise. Can you honestly say they are pointed towards a bright future? I don't know how any sane fan can say that.

You can say I'm not as sanguine as the rest of the fans. I prefer to say I'm more realistic. The Sixers epitomize a rudderless franchise stuck in the endless cycle of mediocrity (with a lot of suck mixed in for good measure)
