Hopefully the Hawks can win another game. I have it on good authority that they want Jo to have at last a full week of rest.
Wouldn’t a full week of rest just mean Thursday though? The earliest it could possibly start is Saturday, so that would be a full 9 days since it happened.

Obviously the more rest the better though. Go Hawks!

I would think if the Celts win today and Tuesday Game 1 could be Thursday, no? I might be wrong.

Nice to see the Heat prolong their series too. I think we really lucked out drawing the Nets in round 1.

I read something that said round 2 will start May 1st and 2nd, but could be moved up as far as April 29th, which is Saturday. I don’t understand why they can’t just say what the hypothetical start dates would be.

All I know is, I am done with the 1pm tips. Had to miss more than half the game the other day.

I don't think there's any more early games after the first round, less overall games so almost all at night. The occasional 3:30PM Sunday game.

Sounds like Game 1 at Boston is Saturday, assuming the C's don't choke tomorrow.

Have heard this too, it will either be Saturday or Sunday.  Saturday if Boston finishes the series off, Sunday if it goes another game.

I can't believe I'm saying this but OH MY GOD WHAT A SHOT. Cmon ATL take this and that'll max out the amount of time on this series for Jo to rest.

Yeah that just might mean the difference between Jo being 75% verses 90% healthy. 11 days rest is huge.

If Atlanta wins tomorrow, we won't start until Monday or Tuesday.  That would be 12 days.  Unreal.

Not to overlook anyone or anything in the future, but this next series is their Conference Finals. They need to sack up and get through the 2nd round for once.

Home court vs. anyone else in the league if we can get past Boston.

NHL used to reseed when they had conference seeding 1-8. In 2010 the 2nd round was 4 vs. 8 and 6 vs. 7 (the Flyers comeback from 0-3 down in the series and Game 7 at Boston).

And way back in the day when they seeded the whole league 1-16, which was an insane system used for only 2 years - check out the 1980 and 1981 playoffs. So many airline miles!

Now they have a mostly divisional system and there's a "playoff division champion" after the 2nd round. The conference seeding was way better. Of course my team isn't anywhere near the playoffs so it matters not in the slightest.

The Celtics are already +145 to win it all on DraftKings. I would have to think that whichever teams comes out on top will be -150 or so going into the conference finals. Maybe the Sixers would be closer to even money.
