Much rather get blown out than to play Jo 40+ and lose by 8.

Shook the rust and looked spryer than I anticipated. Got the split. Go time tomorrow.
Blowout losses are the best losses.
Having Tatum play as poorly as he could possibly play and losing by only 34 should fill Sixer fans with confidence.

    Looking forward to Friday.

    This weekend we rock Portland

Your team lost to an MVPless Sixers in Game 1.

Indeed, tomorrow night should be fun.

Yep. Game 1 was embarrassing no doubt. Tipped the hat to Harden. he was great. Then he stunk last night. Wonder if there's something to Barkley's assessment of how he plays differently when Lion Killer is on the floor.
I expect better out of Embiid and better out of Tatum this weekend. We'll see how it shakes out (my guess is a split).

Harden's 3's wouldn't fall (a couple ridiculous rim-outs) and it just spiraled from there.

I'd love to see B-ball on the floor with JoJo and I'd like to see more (any) Shake - definitely over that stiff Niang. (his passing on the open 3 was a big turning point, along with Embiid's missed alley oop)

You'll see  BBall out there with Jo if they're up. Niang was on the court for offense, which was one of the more confounding things to see - he gets the ball, gives up the 3, only try and drive those stiff legs to the basket. And yep I'd say right around there is when you could see things sinking altogether.

They took one of two in Boston, which is exactly what I wanted, can't argue with that. I don't see Boston going 20 for 51 (!!!)  from 3, and the Sixers going -5 on the TO differential. Absolutely horrendous 3rd quarter, but it's all fine. Embiid shook a lot of rust off and they're back home. I don't think you can ask for more than that.

Definitely think there's something to the idea of Harden going into a game thinking of himself as "facilitator" or "scorer" and how that mental decision trickles down the rest of the game.

Didn't see what Chuck said. I love the guy but his word, while usually humorous and entertaining, means not a whole lot to me.

He lead the league in assists while putting up 21 ppg and our offense with both of them on the floor was tremendous all season long. We don't need Houston Harden. We need the 22/23 Harden.

Fuckin Embiid calls out for his son, named after his brother who passed away, kid runs out, Jo scoops him up, starts balling. I'm balling, you're balling.

    Yeah this team is fucked
I’m not going to say fucked just yet, but it is really sad watching Joel out there with a big ass knee brace playing through a grade 2 LCL tear while his supporting cast just lets him down over and over again.

Between Ben Simmons a couple years ago and this current bunch. Embiid has to be getting frustrated.

I mean imagine this team built around Embiid and Jimmy Butler instead of keeping Tobias Harris & paying Ben Simmons 4 years ago.

That would've been nice, but Butler didn't want to stay. Rumor is he didn't want Brett Brown as Coach.

Yeah feel like the Celts shot themselves in the foot more than Philly pulled ahead. Not feeling great the rest of the way, but it's certainly better than a loss.

    Hell of a game.
Hopefully Marcus Smart's shot being 0.2 secs late isn't this year's Kevin Durant wearing shoes 1 size too big moment.

I guess we need the good Harden for 2 more games.

I definitely thought we had lost and then that I was going to the hospital.
