I don't see why the lakers would trade for okafor when they could have had him with the 2 pick last year. If they really wanted him they would have drafted him. I'm all for including Okafor in a trade but I will be surprised if he ends up going to the Lakers.
The two rumors I keep seeing are Jimmy Butler for Okafor and the Lakers pick. And Okafor to the Hawks for Schroeder (with picks and other players being included on both sides).
I'd imagine there will be daily rumors surrounding the sixers up until the draft. Should be a fun offseason.
Thing is trading Okafor is contingent upon the Embiid being able to play thing, but notsodmuch with Noel. But, either way, do it....as long as they don't fuck it up on the return. Where art thou my Hinkie.

If it took Okafor and the Lakers pick next year....would you do it for #2 and get both Simmons and Ingram?
It's too much....but I kinda think I would since they still have the right to swap with the Kings who should be terrible next year.

That's a good question(Trade & get both Simmons & Ingram). Sixers have a lot of options.
You think the Lakers want Okafor? Why did they by-pass him & take Russell ahead of him? Though, some big man has to go and they have to get a PG & a shooter. Again, with the options and draft picks they have, they better come up with something good.

Not sure. But I think Russell was pretty disappointing in his first year so they might have some regrets. But now having both of them plus their pick next year and cap space to add to their core, maybe it entices them?

I don't know, I might have to - why put off for tomorrow that you can get today? Again, this is alllll predicated on Embiid being able to play, which sucks. But if he can, then you have your bigs, your swingman(swingmen?), potential superstars, and you're left with guardplay to improve upon. If that's what I have in Year 1 Post-Process, which is what this is whether we like it or not, then I'm feeling good with where I am.

Hawks who do you like in the finals? need to know who to bet on
Cant make a pick. Haven't watched much of the NBA playoffs and haven't seen Cleveland at all. Feel free to announce your pick though. you don't seem to do that...then you pat yourself on the back afterwards.

I'm a Lebron lover so I'm biased. I also despise steph curry.

My track record speaks for itself
your track record is commenting after the fact without actually making a pick. and it figures you would like Lebron.

not true at all. you have a poor memory, which goes well with your poor ability to forecast or see the forest from the trees
always was a fan of his and the way he played the game ... you need guys like that on your team if you are gonna win a championship ... two-way unselfish players ...

Love this quote from the article: "Today, the basketball gods smiled on the Nets," team owner Mikhail Prokhorov said in a statement.
