    LONG TRAIL

I'm a big fan of Long Trail's beers too. I had one called, I think, Double Bag. Tasted nice and a funny label of a well-endowed cow!

Ok, I don't want to be that guy, but Corona? $25 a case for a beer with such little flavor it needs a lime? Really? What does this beer have going for it besides a slick marketing campaign?

As far as cheap, macro-produced beers go, my fav (the only one I really like actually) is Miller High Life. Maybe you feel the same about that as I do about Corona, but at least it sells at an appropriate price range.

Well I was going to agree with you about the corona, it was a novelty in 1988, but I cant see how anyone drinks that stuff by choice

Then you had to go and mention miller.
Life is too short to drink cheap beer.

I was going to agree on the Corona too. I've always felt it has such a weak flavor for how much they promote themselves. Plus, it's overpriced.

Although I have heard that Mexican Corona's are much better. However, I cannot say I know from experience.

You're right. It's not worth it to drink cheap beer. I really just mean, in the absence of good alternatives, High Life is the best one IMO. Don't worry. I'm drinking St Bernardus Tripel right now. :)

    hahaha nice!

I just cant seem to spend my money on anything other than a sierra beer. Ive tried so many others, and I just keep coming back. Although I do enjoy guiness and boddingtons pub cans as a change of pace from the IPA.

I'm having a month off drinking....I've just completed week 3....but fuck I'd love a handful of beers followed by a few red wines.

Today is a public holiday for Australia Day and do you know how un-Australian it is to not drink on Australia Day? And I don't even have any weed!! It's wrong....W-R-O-N-G! :|

    Feel good though! :D

I don't know if its one of those myths or not, but i think they use a lime wedge to both sanitize the bottle neck and most importantly it keeps the flies out of your bottle... don't think it's a taste thing although mexican cooking uses a fucktruck of lime right enough... so it might just be that it started off as a taste thing.

regardless... i quite like Corona.. it's my favourite mass produced lager i suppose.

Drinking one of those babies is, in and of itself, a special occasion. Get to it!

Oh yeah, in Philadelphia, I celebrated that the Eagles didn't lose the NFC Championship Game this year.

This is the initial lineup for this years Beer advocate extreme beer fest...I can't wait!!!!!! The point of this fest is for brewers to think outside the box, and come up with innovative, extreme beers, not your typical beers you can buy everyday.

Brewers & Their Amazing Extreme Beers

As part of our commitment to ensuring the best damn selection and the highest level of beer education possible, all brewers have been handpicked and are required to have knowledgeable people behind their booths; typically brewers. As a result we have a most awesome line-up of some 100+ Extreme Beers from 27+ brewers!

    Important notes on the beers:
All beers are subject to change and availability.
All pours are 2ozs (or less).
Listed percentages are alcohol by volume (ABV).
Friday's Night of the Barrels will be a completely different line-up.
Here's the current list. Please not that we'll be adding more brewers and beers, and that all listings are subject to change/availability.

    Waffle Cabin
    wafflecabin.com

Enjoy traditional Liege-style Belgian "sugar" waffles from the famous Waffle Cabin of Vermont, made with fresh yeast dough and imported beet and pearl sugar from Belgium. All waffles are freshly baked in front of your eyes using cast-iron waffles irons that caramelize the sugars, then served traditionally in a hand-held fashion to create an intoxicating experience that you'll never forget.

** Caution: these waffles are addictive. $4 each
