Been having this quite a bit recently ...

Lagunitas is known for their IPA. This is a blend of an amber and an IPA ... as an amber beer lover, this is a perfect mix when you don't want the full bite of an IPA.

oh, and it's called CENSORED as it was originally called KRONIK (which you can somewhat see in the label) but the FDA wouldn't allow them to use that name for a beer.

Has anyone had/seen the PEARL JAM FAITHFUL ALE by Dog Fish Head? My girlfriend told me she was reading about it on phillybrew.com and I wanted to see if there was any way to get my hands on some of this...talk about combining the best of both worlds!

sure, we should get there early, they close at 7pm

    uh, nope...you can't go

We have a staircase to our mezzanine open, you can look right into the brewhouse, cellar, and the bottling line! To sign up for a guided tour send us an e-mail & we'd be tickled to show you around.
    * Remember to wear closed toe shoes; no wet flip flops or sweaty ski socks, sorry.

I can shoot off an email if that's what peeps wanna do.

It's a brewery, they do have a taproom, and you can sample the beer. they sell growlers that will keep your beer cold for 24 hours too!

did you really puke? or did you just hate it? i usually get as many pumpkins as i can and i like that one the most, but, it depends on how much cinnamon you like i guess.

didn't puke, but it is one of the worst beers ever. couldn't even finish it, it was just that bad.

the scotch ale i have fermenting in the basement however...wood chips, and (possibly) wormwood in the secondary?
  • Stopped by Troegs last night and tried their new Scratch beer Special Hops... Not overly hoppy, nicely blended actually... It was brewed as a fund raiser for disabled veterans... Ended up picking up a case for a friend's 40th party this weekend
