Sooner or later, you gotta do it!
I finally made a space in my room for the 4x4 Ikea Kallax (I went with the "black-brown").  It was a bit of a challenge to put together (had to redo about half way through which was a pain), but once done have been super pleased with it and can at last have my 55 + years worth of LP collection all in one place (including a few added since this photo):
(Weird- again using Postimage, the photo is squashed.  Wonder what's up with that?)
i use the kallax for my records too. bought the white one though.
new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

    50 or so per cube?

Probably about 55 on the average.  If they are single LPs with no gatefolds, maybe 65 to 70 max,  My fullest cube has 59 LP's 15 of which are gatefolds and is a little snug but still has a little wiggle room.  And that includes all LP's being in Sleeve City Ultimate outer sleeves.

Nice. I hope to have that much vinyl someday. I only have have about 100 records right now. They are all mostly from high school and college. Right after college I got my first CD player and there went my vinyl purchases. I have hundreds and hundreds of CDs. But now I just bought my new turntable and am starting to buy records again. Someday, I hope I will need to buy a new bookshelf for them, but I haven't run out of room yet.

I never saw that, but I'm sure it's goat's head soup. Strange cover. Yuck. Stones can still surprise me.

I got the black swirl delivered the other day.  Nice record.  Bruce still makes good music after all of these years.  E Street sounded good too.  Can't wait for a tour.

Me at 3 years old for Halloween dressed up as  Bruce. Some lady called me Willie Nelson and I turned to her and said "lady, I'm not Willie, I'm Bruuuuuuce!" Got this signed by Jay Weinberg a few tours ago when he was subbing for his dad. Bruce pointed to it during the show and said that's you? Then smiled.

I just recently got the SP Mellon Collie, damn that thing is beautiful. They did a great job with that. I like the size of the books, was really cool reading through the lyrics again.

Hope I’m not coming across as a douchebag HFD!
I’ve developed a real addiction lol.  I went to three other shops and bought more. After today I’ve told myself that I can only buy the Facelift RE until after Xmas. No more. The 2nd haul today:

original Sync is a great sounding record.  Now if you managed to score the purple one, then it's dynamite.  You have to hold it up to the light to see because it's very dark purple.

When I heard Paul Westerberg/Grandpaboy's Stereo/Mono double LP is available on vinyl I had to jump on it.  God, I love these records and they sound so damn good on vinyl.  From the scanty liner notes:

    "Unprofessional
    Perhaps real?
    Unquestionably."

    Oh yeah!

Picked these up today.  Started listening to Cohen...this thing smokes.  Very clear pressing, sound is phenomenal.  Gonna crank All That You Can’t Leave Behind tomorrow and party like it’s 2000

I can’t believe that U2 album is 20 years old. I clearly remember buying the CD when it came out. Was that 20 years ago. Yikes!
