Found the following PRISTINE at a garage sale last weekend, and they only cost me $1 each:
The Beatles - The White Album
Queen - Radio Gaga 12" single (still the best 'stache in the music business)
The Byrds - Mr. Tambourine Man / Turn, Turn, Turn double album
WOW! What a great find! Gotta love those garage sales.

Been washing a lot of my mucky records - with stunning results! Highlight is Aretha Franklin - Lady Soul - some real 60s magic coming off that record now.
My friend's Dad is a complete hi fi freak - the cost of his system is actually too rude to mention in public - he does a lot of tweaking stuff for better sound - he's a bit crazy. I went round there to play him the original Who's Next I got recently, and he took the record and passed electricity through it with a device he has. I was cynical, but when I got home the sound difference was amazing! hahaha - freak

he gave them all to me (along with all his Beatles records) many years ago. I, in turn, wasn't yet into vinyl, so eventually gave them all to a friend of mine. My Dad turns around a year ago and says "I regret giving those to you, do you still have them?". So the buddy I gave them to, who I hadn't seen in 4 years, I see him when another buddy is in town, and I mention it to him. He says "they're yours!". Six months later, he finally gets around to going through them and I get them all back for my Dad, who only wanted the Beatles ones, and gave me the rest.

Picked up Steve Earle - Townes
2Lp set of Steve Earle doing Townes Van Zandt songs
Also got this from a very close friend who bought it a long time ago from toolarmy. This one was from the first batch they put on sale. I've been bugging for it forever and he finally gave in.

My next LPs:
Queen: a night at the opera (2008? remaster) 180g
Vs remaster
vitalogy remaster
Damn, what a difference in the artwork department! Plus, add the heavy vinyl, and you can imagine the big smile on my face.
And double damn! Its as if I was listening to bohemian rhapsody for the very first time. What a huge difference from any cd I have heard it from.
