    I was just enjoying it. Stepped away from the electronics for a couple hours. Some good beer and whiskey and my last favorite players last game. Life is good

    for outside fans it wasn't about the wins. seeing him last night, seeing a guy so humble and almost embarrassed at the attention is why people outside respect Derek so much. especially in this era sadly his type of attitude is no where near the norm. seeing him tearing up on the field in the 8th was pretty moving even for a non-Yankees fan. was a cool night and glad i watched a lot of it.

    Oh yeah, no doubt. I just thought that stat was pretty wild. I actually think it may be 9 games.

    For sure, you would have to be a pretty cynical person to not enjoy that last night. He was a mumbling idiot after the game. Have never seen him like that. Just an awesome night. Wish I had pulled the trigger on tickets. Buying a house and couldn't really justify spending a grand or so on one night. Read the other day that everytime an athlete fucks up his dad calls him to point it out and remind him that the public is always watching. An awesome career
