Ed's wine stolen from me outside and physically assaulted

Reading through this thread I just have to comment on something that happened to me in Albany at the EV solo show night 2.

I had 2 row seats night one and made friends with one of the security guys there. At the end of the show, during Hard Sun, he let me jump up a row and I got to shake hands w/Ed.

Night 2 I was 4th row, and at the end of the show he waved me over. There was this Canadian guy near him in a canada sports shirt w/VEDDER on the back totally hounding this security guy but of course the securtiy guy was blowing him off. So I go up to him and he says "I got something for you" and hands me an EV pick. I was psyched, gave him a hug, took a picture w/him and went to leave.
Well this Canadian guy starts to follow me. Saying he wants the pick. I politely refused and he was really persistant. He seemed drunk so I figured that's why he was being such an asshole. Then he followed me INTO the ladies bathroom which is downstairs, at started yelling shit at me when he realized I wasn't giving up the pick. I couldn't get away from him. Finally outside his friend pulled him off of me because he was starting to get violent, verbally abusive and right in my face.
Same fuckin description as your guy. French canadian, light blue eyes, short buzz cut, stocky build.
Could it be we have some psycho Ed stalker in our midst?
I would say he's def in 10C b/c he was up front at both Albany and Philly.
I hope he gets whats coming to him.

BUT, I can't believe this has not been said.

ONCE he is identified, and he will be, I will find it hard to believe that no one on this board will have any info, on who he is, name and such.
If YOU know who this guy is, and do not come forward, you are almost as big a P.O.S. as he is.

update: I have a good clear picture of you and him together after the show, holding up the bottle. It is on my friends camera, she will email it to me when she gets home from work and I will put it up.

Once we have his picture up finding him should be easy, I'm sure he was in 10C seats so someone sat next to him and if we know where he sat we know his 10C number and hence his name.. Shouldn't be too hard to locate this a-hole.

just focus on the events that got you the bottle. That is what is important. Eddie singled you out and wanted you to get the bottle. Sure its a nice keepsake, but losing it doesnt take that experience away

typical, im not surprised. i just wish u werent left alone and i wish i hung around to see this. i like to make it my duty to teach prickfu(ks like this life lessons. hearing shit like this eats at my core, especially the kissing grabbing parts. this one will bother me until something is done. im hopeful something good comes from this. keep momentum going on this, spread the word. something is bound to surface. lets get a pic of this pos.

this sounds like it very well could be the same guy. 10c needs to step up and do something about this. if this is the same guy, he could be quite dangerous. sounds like an Eddie psycho stalker.

This story is so scary And also the story that URthekey posted. Wow, 10C is like a family and it's disappointing we have fans like that ... I really hope this guy gets booted! I also agree that you should be talking to Philly police - it's assault!

seriously, that is just fucked. hell, i know we ALL love pj, and it's awesome to get a truly special souvenir from a show but some just take it waaaayyyyyy too far. when it comes down to it, realistically, we're talking about guitar picks, paper with words written on em aka setlists, empty wine bottles and cheap tamborines. i agree, sooo special b/c it's from a show, etc...but sooo not worth all that sometimes happens. halloween a tamborine came near us, didn't even try for it but the guy right next to me clearly caught it and he got pummelled. he was down on the ground holding it and a bunch of people were trying to pull it from his hands! i mean, cmon! it was ridiculous. i actually went closer to him to try and block people from grabbing at hime. it's crazy...

this canadian dude sounds really, really scary/creepy.....yikes. i am truly glad you and the OP both ended up safely away from him.

This is not a Ten Club matter, it is a criminal justice matter. Edvedder913 really needs to go to the police, file a report and let them gather the information via photographs and they can work with the Ten Club to determine who this guy is (not the other way around). The stealing of bottle is the least significant aspect of this story (when it comes down to it, who cares?), the battery of Edvedder913 and the possibility that this guy has done this before and will do it again is what is important here.

It sucks that Edvedder913 lost the bottle and had a special moment ruined, but this guy committed a crime, and it sounds like it might not have been the first time. He is not just a dick, he is a real threat to women in all kinds of situations. OP, please take these photos and videos and contact the Philly police!
