anyone thinking of an hour or so long acoustic set before Bag Religion like they did in Mansfield years ago?? It was Mansfield right??
No, they would have needed to announce that by now to make sure everyone was in on time. Normal starting times, just late ending.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense... I am anxious to see if they really do play as late as they have led on. If so, I'd love to hear a little acoustic set some place in there!

First let me start off by saying WOW great show. Night 2 seamed a little shorter than night 1 but i did think the set list was a little better. BUT I do have a little complaint. ( Dont get me wrong I am not bitching and I am very gratefull for my 10c seats). I have been in the Ten club for a while and this is the first time i have ever been lucky enough to get tickets. With a # of 184xxx i assumed i would prob land some pretty good tix. So around lunch time the day of the show i checked comcasttix to see if there were any tix for sale just out of curiosity and there were some great seats row 3 next to the stage. I passed on them hoping my 10c seats would be close . Unfortunatly my 10c seats were towards the back of the lower level row 12, in the middle of the row. The seats were still good but I have some friends with 10c numbers in the 300xxx and 400xxx that were closer than me. Does anyone know if the seats are just random and the lower your number doesnt matter , or was it just bad luck on my behalf. Either way it was an unbelievable show and I cant wait for the 31st .
I do believe it is a lottery; random draw. Some people have higher numbers than you who had phenominal seats, and some did not. Quite frankly, unless you had the first few rows of the first sections on the floor, you were better off sitting in the actual arena seats. Standing on the floor alters the sound in a negative way and your vision is impared by a plethora of people of varied heights. I had seats in 310 (basically across the arena from the stage and the second floor of seating) on Wed and the sound and sight was perfect. Better yet, I had 218 on Tuesday, which was lower and closer to the stage, and still perfect.

Yea, i agree, that they would be courteous, and anounce that they were doing something like that. BUT, with a LATE ending, will they play an hour or so acoustic set? Right about now, it wouldn't surprise me.
What did everyone think about the floor seats? There was not a lot of room to move around coz the space was tight, and because is flat its not a good place for the vertically challenged. There was a group of girls behind me who had to resort to looking at video screen because their view was obstructed. Maybe folks who got tickets in the side section think differently about the spectrum , but I am glad that they will be taking it down.
This was my second time in the spectrum and it kinda sucks I got floor tickets in the back sections both times .. I like camden and PNC better ..but thats just me ..
push me, pull me?! speed of sound, and no way...fuckin' epic.
absolutely. I was so excited to see them that night, and so fortunate I was able too. I missed their last come around back in 2003. It was a great night.
We had seats in section 318, but row 1-- a nice little mezzanine area.
Perfect view of the side of the stage, we could see all happenings,
the sound there was so perfect, it was perfectly loud, extremely clear, you could hear all instruments loudly, clearly, sparkling, intense, wonderful. There was not a muffle to be heard or had. It was Pearl Jam heaven.
The songs chewed me up and spit me out, oh and pushed me pulled me.
To start with Animal, I didn't sit the whole show--I couldn't if I wanted to.
They played Grievance, and Blood--so cool to let loose and dance to.
Speed of Sound is my second favorite from Backspacer. The harmonizing vocals are killer, well to me anyway.
The spectrum was crackling with energy, they played so hard, it was an incredible experience.
Another great night in Philly! This night the back of the stage was open. Tuesday's show the back of the stage was covered with PJ's backdrop. The 400 section this night was filled. When PJ hit the stage & started up with ANIMAL, everybody were going nuts. The lady coming up with score updates was pretty cool. To hear Lukin with the quartet was a treat. Heard the LA bootlegs but gotta see this in person.
There were a few things that were surprisings. As the first two show's, there were no Philly Team jersey's. I was in the line & heard from tons & tons of people that Pearl Jam were getting suied cause of it. I didn't know. When I'm on vacation, i don't go online to check the boards etc.. Didn't know if it was real or not, but seeing none were on sale was. One treat & I forgot to mention this on the day before was our friend here on the boards, Rubysdad makes an appearance on the Tuesday Pearl Jam poster by Tom Tomorrow. His head is right behind the amazon woman & basketball player. Pretty sweet. I bought them all via presale, but had to buy an extra one on this tour. The prints would make great cards for a Philly 2009 Bluray/DVD box set!
After the show, we headed again to McFaddens for another night of tribute bands & drinks. Not sure what time we got back to the Radisson Hotel but another great night has passed & there was few more day's to go. Oh baby, oh mama, oh baby!

and speaking of 'No Way', almost pissed meself hearing that too!

Slow dancing on the floor of the Spectrum to 'Wishlist' with a long blonde haired blue eyed tightly packaged Phillies chick was quite a thrill. And thanks to those on either side for giving up a bit of space to allow that...row 1 of section 108...thank you!

Does anyone have pictures that include the front row on Mikes side? My brother won the PJ lotto that night and we were in the first row on Mikes side (he also handed me his setlist) and I would love to see if we made it on anyones pictures. Thanks!!!

The sound was so bad where I was sitting, you couldn't tell what the fuck song it was until Ed finally said "Push Me, Pull Me". Then everyone went, "oh".

I was a little scared to have seats directly parallel to the stage, (we were looking at them sideways from the 3rd level but 1st row), the speakers were right there, it was a gigantic wall of wonderful sound. bellishly crisp.
Where were your seats? There are always those "strange muddled spots" where the speakers aren't exactly aiming.

How many times did he full out fall down?
Trivia question!

Right in front of the soundboard, of all places.
