Great concert tonight, started off with such great energy with animal, crowd was awesome! Good seats thanks 10club. Band was on fire all night!!! Highlights were Garden, Grievance, nothing as it seems, Even Flow (the best live version Ive seen), the Betterman tag was sick and Porch was amazing! Love the Spectrum can't wait for the next 2 shows!!! LOVE THIS FUCKING BAND!!!!
Amazing show. My biggest request was half full and my friends was Evacuation, blown away that we both had our songs played. Half full sounds so fucking good live, it should be a staple likeevenflow or GTF. Never thought id hear push me pull me or garden. Porch, the real me, and nothingas it seems were highlights. Just breath is the new "take a piss" song, at least for those who have seen the previous philly shows.
I won the lottery, 2nd row, Stone side. Thank you so much ten club. It meant more than I can express. Never thought in a million years I'd ever see a Pearl Jam concert, one that good, in the 2nd row. Unreal.
Thank God i see that once before i die ..Berlin 2009

I figured now that I'm back in NY, I can post a proper review.
To start off: WOW. I never leave a PJ show feeling unsatisfied, and this time was no exception. The show was great. From the rarities (Push Me Pull Me, No F'ing Way), to my personal faves (Blood!!!!!!!!!, GTF, Speed of Sound, The Real Me) the show was a great one.
Just to give a bit of context, my ride didn't leave NYC until 640. We got to the Spec at 847, at which point I sprinted to the will-call to grab my tickets before the booth closed. Opened the envelope: Section 213. I was pretty stoked, considering I have a 421XXX TC number. We run through the gate, and straight into our section, at which point the crowd starts to go wild. By the time we fought through everyone to reach our seats, Ed and Co. had taken the stage, and Animal had begun. It was insanity, but we made it there.
The whole show was great. I freaking love Blood; it's so damn heavy and raw. And hearing Push Me-Pull Me and No Way were huge for me.
For those of you following the setlist updates on Twitter (http://twitter.com/yaschwartz), sorry about that, but service was crappy inside the arena.
Also, if anyone's interested; I should have a full review with pictures up on the blog before the weekend, so check that out if you're interested: http://troubledsoulsunite.blogspot.com/
Other than that, I've just gotta push myself through a bit of studying for tomorrow's AM midterm (Digital Signal Processing will be the death of me), and the crash before prepping for the weekend, and the Sat nite show.
Peace, y'all.
So glad I made it out tonight, and can't wait until Sat night.
P.S. Also, huge props to the guy next to me in Section 213 Row 15, green shirt and shorts. It was a pleasure being next to you, with you rocking out the entire show. You even knew all the words to Lukin, which was uber impressive. Hope to meet you at a show again.
Ladies and Gentelman...Pearl Jam...ther best band in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s...they gonna fuckin do it..will play almost all the songs..

Unbelievable show ... the setlist was like a punch to the gut from the "Animal" opening to the "YL/Little Wing" end. The band seemed intent on covering as much material as possible, and opted for very tight/lean arrangements of most songs instead of the sprawling explorations they sometimes go on. Notable exceptions were Garden, Porch and Evenflow, on which Mike led everyone on some sonic adventures. If Spectrum 1 was a "Vitalogy" & "Vs." night then Spectrum 2 felt like a "Ten" & "Binaural" night. Other than Just Breathe and Speed of Sound, there weren't really any true slow songs. EWBTC, Wishlist and Last Kiss were all propelled along at a good clip and Eddie pushed the vocals to keep the songs upbeat and exciting for the audience. I thought that even "Life Wasted Reprise" had an edge to the vocals that wasn't always there in the '08 tour. It will be interesting to see how material like Hard to Imagine, Sleight of Hand, Off He Goes, Footsteps, Soon Forget, etc. will get worked into the setlists over the next 2 nights (or, maybe IF they get worked into the setlists )
I thought the crowd was a lot more into the music tonight than last night, including the rarities and TC favorites. I noticed FAR fewer people in the audience were wearing Phillies gear tonight as compared to Spectrum 1 (though there were still plenty). As someone else noted, it seemed like many of the more casual PJ fans prioritized the World Series, so they came to Spectrum 1 but watched the game tonight. Anyone who was at Spectrum 2 clearly prioritized PJ over baseball (notwithstanding the Score Card Girl).
I'm still a little bruised over having to miss LA 3 due to work, but the last 2 nights have provided some excellent therapy. I was with my brother and 2 PJ first timers tonight who were completely blown away by the experience. I also had the good fortune to meet and rock out with Pete, who was in town on business from the West Coast and was able to extend his trip to see the show tonight. I don't expect Chris Cornell will be showing up on Sat. night to do a reprise of Hunger Strike, but I do know that I'll be at that show, helping the boys give the Spectrum a send off with style.
KORITFW ... sleepytime.
Rise. Life is in motion. I'm stuck in line.
Oh rise. You can't be neutral on a moving train.
Got back to Virginia about an hour ago from the show.
Great energy and performance BUT the setlist was pretty weak in my opinion. When they came out with Animal I was thinking they were going to tear the roof off but went into All Night and WWS which was alright. The end of the main set was solid, great crowd participation on Save You. But there was no real rocking set; every time it seemed that the hardness would continue, it wouldn't and some people got bored. No Go, SPBC, SOLAT, Brain of J, DTE, etc.
It was fuckin awesome to hear NO WAY though, been asking for it since I was 9 years old. Johnny Guitar was brilliant live. Mr. McCready did well on NAIS and 1/2 Full.
Push Me Pull Me was funny because no one knew what the hell they were playing until Ed said a word.
Crowd was fuckin great. Fuck all you Phillies fans though! I saw my true Yankee fans at the show, REPRESENT!!
Good show, it was my 19th overall...it goes around #10-12 for me.

Great seats. Section 201 Row 5. Best seats I have ever had at a PJ show. I am 5-5 so the floor doesnt cut it for me.
Brought 2 co-workers there who kind of get sick of hearing me gush about the band and think (thought) I am crazy to attend so many PJ and EV shows. They both were awestruck by what is going on and are sold for life now. i have to expidite bootlegs of old shows to these guys this morning!
I (we) are so lucky to be witnessing this run of shows in this great building. Thank you Pearl Jam!
I am still holding the biggest smile. Last night was amazing, I thought nothing could ever top Bonnaroo.
Heard pushme, pullme through an open door duing the soundcheck - along with garden and habit - the sound outside was even amazing. Ed even talked about it alittle bit during the show
Can't wait for Friday

"Push Me, Pull Me"!!!! I think I was the most excited person in the building for that one.
This was a Mike McCready night, and he seemed to be having an awesome time.
Speaking of Mike: "Mike is God" shirts seem to go over much better with the band than "No Even Flow" shirts.
I never, ever, would have guessed that they would open with "Animal."
I have not looked at the set list thread, so maybe everyone already knows that they sound-checked "Habit."
I need to get some sleep. My hands are cracked and raw from clapping, too. :!:
Here's a video of Speed of Sound.
