We're not as bad as people are saying. Romo is just easy to hate. And Jeagler couldn't play a single down in the NFL so I don't put much stock in what that woman has to say. ;)

so hammerdonkey is either a former professional football player or current professional football player...otherwise, do not put any stock into what he says.

keep trying to sell yourself on your squad guy!:lol::lol:

I wouldn't be trusting the Eagles right now either. I think there is something to the 'peaking too early' theory. Besides, I still think NO or the Vikings are going this year. Maybe the Giants.

BTW, I am meeting you in Philly right? I will be there for the 10/30 and 10/31 shows. I can't go all the way the fuck up there without at least shaking hands with the guy I have been arguing about football with for the last 4 years right?

i'm not delusional about my team. this extended preseason is the best thing that could have happened to them though. they need to be 5-1 by the time they play the giants. and then we'll let the chips fall where they may.

yeah i will be at the wed/fri/sat shows. i've never gone to a preparty before though. i usually have a pretty big one one set up with my friends. are they just like a tailgate party? i will probably head over for the wednesday show and maybe friday.

it would be good to throw back a beer with you so i can explain just how awful your team is to you in person though. hahahaha

Yeah, in Philly anyway they are like a big tailgate party. Been in bars/restaurants in other places. I am not going to spend much time at the fundraiser pre-party this time, but definitely would like to meet.

I would for sure. Its a PJ crowd so you would expect them to be a way more CEREBRAL group than the mouth-breathing, rocky balboa wanna bees that are shown in the stands at Financial Field. I'm sure there will be a few typical morons, but they won't do anything with all the PJ fans around.

Someone might want to tell the offensive line that you are not supposed to move until the ball is snapped.

+Someone needs to tell the D to wait till ball is snapped. If it wasn't for that offside Dallas gets off the field with no points scored. Worst coached team in NFL.

Thank you! As for December, we'll see, I have my doubts as well. I would like to see Austin 1 and Crayton 2 and Williams sent packing for a kicking tee. I'd like to see Choice get more touches, he seems to make things happen. It is now a legit 3 team race. 3 NFC East teams might make the playoffs!

we cowboys fans need to be careful...if there's any semi-good team that we are built to beat the bejesus out of it's the falcons. our line is fat, and there's is small. still nice win.

That is true, but it was nice to see Romo have another good mistake free game. With the Giants loss, the division is a toss up.

Yes a nice win. Especially with the Giants going down again. But another mistake free game from Romo and when he plays like that and the defense plays like that they are going to be tough to beat. And this was a quality win against a good team. I feel much better about the Cowboys now.

How do you think the Giants fans feel now?

Not good, check out my post to their thread.

I never thought Giant fans were as bad as Yankee fans, but some a-hole said Romo would never be as good as Eli.

Little does he know Romo already is.

I for one have wondered if they are as good as advertised, the Cowboys should have beat them, NO ripped em last week and AZ this week and AZ has very little in way of a running game, next week they have Philly. I feel better about the Cowboys. I wish they would cut down on the penalties, I think if they could cut the penalties in half they could be a lot more dangerous. Still us Cowboy fans should feel good, still a lot of football left.

I won't go that far, but Eli Manning is one of the most overrated QBs ever. If his defense didn't slam Brady all over the field in that SB he wouldn't have had a chance at that last drive. Brady went that entire season without getting hit and the Giants defense brought it that game. Yes, Eli made the play and Tyree made that amazing catch, but the ridiculous Giants D got him there.

Anyway, lukin2006, if you can convince Detroit to take Roy back, I will buy his plane ticket.

No I don't think they even want him, but I think Romo will continue to go to Austin, even if Williams begins to whine. This is different than TO, TO was a proven receiver Williams is not. This was a very bad trade and another contract and signing bonus Jones will have to eat. Now that it appears that Romo has a go to guy, maybe he can relax and lead the team to the playoffs.
