The show kicked ass! A lot of people were upset with their seats, but as others have said, when half the arena is 10C members, some are gonna be in the back...I do think 10C actually learns from these situations. When they sold the two additional Philly shows there was a disclaimer saying something like "We have more than our usual amount of tickets for these shows, but after the usual allotment has been allocated, we can't guarantee prime seat location..."
Anyway, from what i saw, that show rocked from wherever you were sitting...Download the unofficial Pearl Jam Stat Tracker app for iPhone/iPad. It's FREE.

If you were in section 4, I know what you are talking about. I kept saying, "do you smell cheap wine?" seriously,it was pretty powerful.Turn this anger into

According to some posters, PJ are pinpointing their rock vibes to individual seats. I seen a guy in 311 say it didn't kick ass, but I was in 311 and there wasn't and unkicked ass to be seen from my vantage point.0 -

in all fairness....has anyone EVER gotten a 300 level seat thru 10c before? i've not ever heard of it, nor would i expect it.....not even at MSG, philly, boston or chicago. it definitely IS surprising, and i am sure to some degree, disappointing. i don't think ANYone with a high # expects a prime seat, but i wouldn't imagine worse than the 200 level. hell, the MSG I 2003 show, filled with 10clubbers, and my mediocre # still managed 200 level midway back. i would be very, very surprised to ever get 300 level seats. sure, the OP may be poor form, but i still think the idea behind it....not that far off. at least now i know, i may be in the 300 level for 10.30. :P
seriously tho, it seems like from my limited reading here....some got 300s....and some didn't.....even with similar 10c #s. also would seem that there must've been at least some TM tix that were sloser/better....and not just the rare single ticket. so it definitely appears to set a precedent in any case.
hope all managed to have a great time anyway!
(and damn....do pj still ban binoculars?)
Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -
All the asses were kicked in my section as well.0

I was by no means expecting GREAT seats, just a pair in the 100 level.... I was SHOCKED when I saw 332... I didnt even think it was a possibility. I wish 10C would have put a disclaimer, like they did for some of the Philly shows (stating that 10C had a lot of seats and therefore they might not be great).
This being said, I DID have a great time and I DID rock out.... but not thanks to the 10C. Sell fewer 10C seats if you are going to stick some of us in the nosebleeds.
PS, if you think side stage uppers are worthy of your members, you need to sit up their yourself 10C! :roll:0 -
Vedd Hedd wrote:There are only so many awesome seats to go around. What do you expect wen half the fan club comes in for a show.
If other dates were announced when this show was announced, less people would have gone to this show. But at least you got tix. I know people who got shut out.
The tickets didnt sell out for a few days, If people got 'shut out' its their own fault for not purchasing from the 10C. It was not like a 10 minute Ticketmaster sell out!0 -
As I posted in the fan forum for the concert...
I have a significant problem with Pearl Jam/10C when I have friends who have been in the 10C for years, getting the last row in the 300 level. There were people on the 100 level who bought tickets through a local radio presale password on Ticketmaster. If you're going to use the excuse that a lot of 10C members traveled here for the show/there were a lot of friends/family etc.. either don't sell that many 10C tickets, or put a dlsclaimer on the seats you purchase.
It's 100% false advertising when they claim that members get the best seats. As someone mentioned, they should have had a disclaimer that 10C members could be sitting in the upper rafters of the venue. I'm not paying 50 bucks every year to simply be "there"; I was paying that amount to have the best seats (as Pearl Jam clearly advertises in their membership purchase) to actually see one of my favorite bands and not see ants on the stage from my seats.Post edited by IlliniGuy76 onor you can come to terms and realize

It doesn't matter what their number is...
The fact is 10C/Pearl Jam advertises that being a part of this club offers you the best seats in the venue. There are people in the 100 level last evening that bought their tickets through a radio presale. It's false advertising. As I said.. I might have reconsidered purchasing tickets to this event, to see one of my favorite bands, if I knew I'd barely see them.or you can come to terms and realize

Well what's your number and where did you sit? I'm more interested in knowing where my number may land me in Philly than whether or not the fanclub falsely advertises stuff.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Because I've never posted here doesn't mean:
1) I haven't been a fan, gone to concerts of theirs, been a member etc as long or longer than you
2) Posting here, about this specific topic, could mean that I simply wanted as many people who could correct this problem, seeing the massive issues they had last night.or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...

LOL @ all the people who sit right near the front at every show bitching out members stuck in the upper level for an "entitlement complex." Do you folks realize this wasn't even the middle concourse, but the upper one...? Anybody could score 300-tickets from Ticketmaster. You don't join the 10C to get equal or worse seats than you can get in the general on-sale. What is so hard to understand about that? Why shouldn't people be upset they got stuck in the nosebleeds?0

Same Here Ledbetterman...I have an ok # was thinkin maybe ill get a sweet seat..but I am thinking my number wont get me such a good seat now...hehe can I start bitching about my philly seats now?0
