My number is 161XXX ... I was in section 233. I had better seats for night 1. Something isn't right there. I wonder if the box office guy messed up grabbing my tickets...or even worse, swapped them.
Dude, why do you keep complaining about being in Section 233? That is right next to the stage club level. :?:

I guess that is a little strange...unless they considered sec 233 as being a better seat than sec 120 since they were behind front of stage
???
People with worse membership numbers were in 113. Anyhow, I'm just pointing out an oddity. That is the only problem with the ticket distribution as it is, when you get your tickets, you are going on complete faith that they are indeed the tickets you are suppose to get. And then when things seem a bit off, there is nothing you can do and 10C doesn't have the time to even look at the issue later to see if something was wrong...so they can try to improve their process if something got messed up. Oh well, both shows were amazing. I did like Chicago 1 better, not sure how much was because of better seats. It's weird being up high on the side like that, seems like you are just peeking in overhead at a show that the band is performing for the people on the floor and in the 100 level seats.
I didn't get 10c seats for night 2 because I decided to stay for that one after the pre-sale
I was in sec 334 first row....got those through stubhub....looks like I would have been in the 100 level near the back with 10c
my seats weren't too bad....you're right though it seems like you are watching overhead but it was nice being quite a bit closer than night one when I was in sec 307....that sucked

yup. That is strange. Not even the worst 400,xxx got worse than a 100 level seat.
I've seen this before. Either cincybearcat had their tickets intentionally switched by someone or a mistake was made. seems like the exception, rather than the rule though.

That one guy mentioned he got row 30. I'm also skeptical about sitting at the back of the floor. I'm fairly tall and I had row 22 once and I had a hard time seeing the stage (this was in seattle 02 i think). I spent most of the concert trying to look around all the heads in front of me to even see the stage (maybe I just had people of same height in front of me).
I looked at the chart, If I'd gone to that show I'd of been in section 122. Similar to where I was at seattle 2000 where there was alooooot of fan tickets sold.
Oh, I understand that, I'm not a tall guy by any means, but the guy who I mentioned that was bitching about his seat was taller than me, and had fewer tall people in front of him.
Ultimately at MOST shows its about your attitude going into it when you pick up your tickets if you are going to be happy or sad.
I've had 5th row and 7th row before at smaller markets, and I've traveled to NYC and Chicago to see them too. And I know GOING into it at those bigger markets, my seats aren't going to be 'amazing' but they are going to be pretty good.
If people actually did get nosebleeds, plain and simple, that is not right.
From the Ten Club Tickets section of www.pearljam.com:
"We reserve the best seats in the house for fan club tickets, starting from the first rows on the floor and extending back. We also reserve the side sections closest to the stage when necessary."

. Your member number 415XXX, for a show like Chicago, NYC, Jersey, Boston, or LA will put you in the back. or up top. Go to Salt Lake City, Virginia Beach, Vancouver, Portland or any other small market city and you'll be about 15-20 rows from the front with that number. Seats are allocated by seniority (except for the lottery rows 1-2 and 9-10...anyone could get those).
Always best to email us at info@tenclub.net with questions.
