In at the Radisson for $75! I think people were getting Priceline here for a bit less, but the 10C reservations are cancelable, in case something comes up, that makes it a little better for me.

    Thanks 10C!

Also working on a group rate at the Holiday Inn at Stadium (about $100). Not as nice as the other places, but is decent 3 star (stayed there in 05).

For those who don't want to pay for parking, don't care for Philly sites, or drive, this could be another option.

I'm only going to be there for the two final shows and probably won't have time for much of the touristic stuff, pluss all pre and post parties are close to the venue. So I'd appreciate getting in on that group rate if you can get it ;)

FYI..if you go to starwood.com and use the promo code ZBT, they are having a promotion for the 2nd nite at 50% off. For the Sheraton Society Hill its $283 total for 2 nites for a double, which is $70/nite/person if you are sharing. Also, the Sheraton Philly City Center, its $239 total for 2 nites for a double, which is $60/nite/person if you are sharing.

Just a heads up for those of us who are still looking for a room in Philly.

all they have left is 1 bed. I need to figure something out soon.

Does anybody know anything about a group rate at the holiday inn that was being talked about before.
  • We have a room block set up at Embassy Suites - Philadelphia Airport 9900 Bartram Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19153 215-365-4500

Room Block name is Fan Club - Pearl Jam or Ten Club All rooms must be reserved by 9/27/09 in order to get the special rate.
Room rate is $109.00 plus tax (regular rate is $179.00) for the following dates October 26 - October 31.
All rooms are 2 room suites and include 1 king bed and 1 queen pullout sofa in the living room.
Currently there are 10 rooms for October 26, and 25 rooms for the remaining dates, if need be we can increase the number according to availability at the hotel.

    Includes:
    Free Parking
    Made to order breakfast

Approximately 3 Miles from the venue, there is a shuttle service but there is a fee. If people don't want to drive they suggest taking the bus which is 24 hours and complementary to the airport and then riding the subway to the venue.

Reservations can be made by calling 215-365-4500 or Embassy Reservations at 800-EMBASSY, individuals must identify themselves as being with the group to get the rate.

Couldnt find any good deals for the weekend downtown. I really wanted to stay at the Radisson but they were telling me 200 bucks on the phone. Priceline wasnt accepting my 100 dollar bid for a hotel downtown...Finally found a room at the Radisson for 120 thru 1800hotels.com so i jumped on it. But now that site doesnt have any rooms left for the Radisson that weekend so it looks like I got one of the last rooms.
  • sounds like the embassy airport block is the best deal as of now, especially if you partner up with others and split the cost. Suite! ...er Sweet!

are the embessy suite rooms cancelable? Ultimatly, I like to be in the Holiday inn right by the venue, but it's too steep without a block room rate

The Holiday Inn Stadium room rate fell though.... I think they decided to take a look at the sports schedule and noticed the Eagles, Flyers, 76ers and possibly Phillies will be playing that weekend....

Sorry if anyone was waiting.... there are some other group rates people are putting together or you can go the priceline route at your risk....

  • Just booked a room at Club Quarters for $95 through Priceline "Name your own price".

I'm coming in Saturday 10/31 and staying just one night.

I had been bidding the past few days, looking for 3* or 3.5* hotels in the Downtown area. I'd been shut down on my tries until today. Tried a few 3.5* bids today - when I worked my way up to $90, I got a $22 counter-offer (saying I could add $22 and re-bid again immediately). Instead, I just added another zone (which had no 3.5* hotels), and bumped my bid up to $95 - which was accepted.

Still wish I had been able to get in on the Radisson rate, but this will work. Can't wait... In the meantime, I'll get my fix in Toronto tomorrow. :D
