Embassy Suites rule - they have a FULL free breakfast every morning and a free happy hour in the evening.
At least they did every other time I stayed there, but that was before the economy tanked.Don't come closer or I'll have to go0 -

i am going to guess that the 'cheap backspacer rate' that the poster is referring to was actually for the radisson deal @ $75 a night.
man, i should've waited. i keep making bad decisions for this philly trip. already booked the club quarters @ $95 a night. was worried i'd get shut out of a nice hotel, had tried priceline for a week or so, finally went up to $95. eh well, what's done is done. at least i am set.Stay with me...

The backspacer rate is a deal (like $30.00 cheaper than normal) but the priceline name your price is a gamble that allows you to crush going rates on certain hotels. I was having shit luck on priceline, but I scored the crown plaza city line for 80 a night plus fees on hotwire. I know a lot of people were looking for downtown and from what I hear the traffic sucks around my hotel, but I plan on using public transportation and 80 bucks a night for a three star with an indoor pool and free parking ain't half bad.2006- Boston I

Friday and Saturday so yeah I think so. But I have never had this much trouble on priceline. I gave up on downtown and ended up at the Renaissance at the airport for a $60 per night bid.

After several tries the past few days using priceline for 3 star hotels in downtown Philly
I finally scored the Doubletree Philadelphia for $85/night plus taxes for Oct 27th-Nov 1st.
I was hoping for the Embassy Suites but the Doubletree looks OK. Anybody else staying
