also, what's the deal with the pre-sale? looks like on ticketek it's also open to people with visa cards, not just ten club members... hmm...
There will (presumably) be a separate 10C presale on the website, details of which will be delivered in the next few days I'd think.

I'm confused by the wording.. is Ben Harper opening for the NZ shows, or just Liam Finn???
Ben Harper and Relentless7 and Liam Finn - two opening acts

Visa pre sale is different to the TC sale which hasn't been announced yet

I'm sure we'll have details by then, maybe even the sale.
  • Hope so! Little frustrating otherwise...
Cannot wait for the shows though, and I think this Pearl Jam / Ben Harper combo is totally gonna be worth the 11 year wait... (fingers crossed it just doesn't rain...)

I emailed the ten club re my wife being pregnant and buying reserved tickets. They replied that details are still being worked out, but they would tell us before purchase where the tickets we are buying are (ie GA or reserved)

So... does that mean that there will be standing/GA room, and then reserved seating space in front of that for ten clubbers? Or that its possible the ten club reserved section will be up in the stands..?
Argh, I really needa know before tomorrow night so I know what to ask my friends to buy me while I'm away on holiday! (because it's all about me..)

    They said

"Those details are still being worked out."

    I replied with

" If possible, at the time of purchase, can we know if we are buying GA or seated? "

    And they said:

"You will know before you purchase.

    Cheers,
    10c"

Thanks scottdm. Sorry, yeah I know I'm being impatient and asking questions that no one can answer at the mo, just curious whether they'll bother putting out a ton of seats on the grass, or what.
Anywho, you and the wife going to both shows, or just one?

My girlfriend must be totally nuts then! She will be almost 8 months pregnant and want to go to the chch concert and fly up to Auckland to go again. It all depends on the tickets though, if TC are GA then we will probably only do chch as we will have to go through ticketek so she can have a seat

You might want to check with the airlines as to their policy for flying whilst pregnant...

She has done that and checked with her midwife, if the pregnancy is normal and fine she can fly till she is 36 weeks

I'll be roughly 6 months pregnant by the time the concert rolls around, so am in much the same boat seating wise. Signs of an aging fan base or what - all these pregnant women in the forums! Just cause I'll be pregnant though doesn't mean I"m going to be an invalid, and I'm pretty sure I'd rather be in the field than in the bleacher seats a million miles away from the stage with my binoculars.... wouldn't I? I can't imagine any of those bleacher seats at ericson providing a good view. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, I've really only had BDO experience there.

Are the gold tickets field and silver bleachers?

Who knows? It could be like the Who, with GA behind and to the side of the seating..........

www.showbiz.co.nz has a pre sale on now!!!!!. gold reserve seated, gold reserve standing or silver reserve (GA)

tough call. to wait for 10C or just buy the fuckers right now
  • I. am. so. confused.
So you can buy tickets NOW? Before the ten club presale and before the visa presale and before the general ticketek sale??

You're not really buying a ticket, you're buying a promise of a ticekt once they go on sale. If you try to buy reserved seating you get "To Be Allocated", and you pay extra for the priviledge. I wouldn't bother. If 10C still hasn't announced anything by the Visa presale and you want seated I'd buy then. At least you'll know what you're getting and if they're good you can always sell them on if you decide to get 10C tickets (if they give them to us).
