    Had the mail on hold for a few days while we were out of town. Backed up mail arrived today and included most recent Vault shipment, Seasick Steve "Live at Third Man", Stone's new album on vinyl and a separate package for one of his posters, and a fifth package containing Grateful Dead Tervis tumblers. Unfortunately my wife intercepted all the packages :fp:

    Just received my Vault#16 today!
    Upon further inspection they gave me two white records and both are the same! :(

    Did this happen to anyone else?
    I contacted them but this sucks what a pain in the ass. :fp:
    It wouldn't be as bad if I lived in the US but Canada takes forever.

    Ordered the LP carrying case from Third Man shop. They claim it has a slight defect, but for $50 is a pretty good deal. FedEx ground shipping was pretty affordable too. LP case, third man belt buckle, pin, and patch came to $97 including shipping. Finally have a protected place to store all of these gems!

    what do you think the deal is with the vault novelties shop. i wasn't going to subscribe for the newest package, but seeing as how the page has said "launching in july" forever, and july is coming to a close, i wonder if they are going to wait until the deadline. wonder if the $20 membership grants me access to this?

    i have a feeling that if anything good will come of it, it will be right when it launches, to use as a marketing tool to get people to keep a subscription even if they don't want the quarterly package.

    I'm guessing they are gonna dump e tra vault items they have lying around. I'm sure the first one will be huge. Probably extra of those first few Vault packages. But I'm sure they will roll out good stuff over time. I don't think it's a good reason to hold a membership. To be honest unless you get the subscription with the LP and 7", the vault is pretty worthless. Especially since there is no White Stipes anymore.
