Jack played a snippet of "Pipeline" by the Ventures and dedicated it to "Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam."
:-O B-) Very cool, thanks for sharing. Is it too much to wish for a PJ/TMR collabo one day? *-:) Sloop: nice handle & top notch song
I was seriously hoping Eddie would make a guest appearance at the Chicago Theatre show since they were both in town, but alas. Wrigley was the first time they showed up in a picture together, then this happened today!
And thanks! I love me some Sloop!
i love this
might be a silly question... but what is that hand symbol ed's doing in the pic? he did it at me/my direction (and the other people around me, i'm sure) at the hamilton show and i didn't know what to do, so i just smiled.

That was HARD CORE! Haven't seen a crowd like that since the 90s! Wow! So fun and wild! ..... It was too much for a lot of people though. There was a line up going way down the slope coming out of the first aid tent.after the show, lol. It was dangerous as fuck, really. A dude landed on my head but i was okay. Haven't seen that much crowd surfing and terrified short people in years, lol. I was very very very happy to be tall and on the rail. Best show ever after PJ. And security was phenomenal trying to take care of people who were getting crushed. I shook their hand after, I was so impressed. They were stunned by what the crowd was like. They said it never got like that.

No lazaretto last night, how you don't play it on the lazaretto tour is beyond me. I dug the show a lot, he's a great musician, but left with a bitter taste. No lazaretto, hardest button, love interruption, 16 saltines, blue orchid, etc All big songs and all played on previous setlists. In fact we probably Got shortest set of the tour. How do you play 20 songs one night, average 25 a night and other nights play 35? Just made me bitter to see other setlists and $80 isn't cheap
I actually didn't care what he played at all. It was the first time seeing him, so the setlist was fantastic as far as I was concerned! And Lazaretto isn't my favorite song or anything, so don't care about that either. Although it is odd that he didn't play it. Didn't even think of that until now.

I think a lot of the short set was the venue. DLP has a curfew, but I've seen artists play long too bad JW was not one of them. The crowd had more life in them,we had to work just to get Seven Nation Army.

The curfew there is 10:00 and security up front said they're really strict about it (or at least being strict about it that night). So they played as long as they could... though should have started on time. But also, not sure if you could tell if you weren't really up close, but Jack's ankle was REALLY bothering him by halfway through the show. Considering how much pain he seemed to be in, I was happy they went as long as they did.

Nice! I'm really hoping to hear Icky Thump and Missing Pieces, but I know his banter between songs is gonna be what pushes the concert up to another level.

Where are you seated? I'm pumped, haven't been to Merriweather since 98 PJ.
I'll be in the GA pit up front and this will be my first show there! I didn't realize JW was playing Merriweather until way after tickets went on sale. Was able to grab a pit ticket for $5 more than the cost of the TM seats available at the time, I got very lucky.
I'm pumped too. Saw JW this year at Bonnaroo and was wayyy in the back, but it still rocked, so i can't imagine how good he's gonna be up close. Right before the Roo set I turned to my group and told them I really wanted Icky Thump, and if they played that I woud die... Well, he opened with it and it turned out to be the best set of the entire festival.
