Pearl Jam NEW Rock Band Project - Vote Now

edited November 2013 in The Porch
We need your help! Ten Club, MTV Games and Harmonix’s Rock Band, and Rhapsody are teaming up to let you, Pearl Jam’s biggest fans, help us choose the best versions of Pearl Jam live songs that will be presented for the first-ever fan voted set list for a forthcoming Rock Band project.

Your expertise will help us determine which of these versions is worthy of making the cut. Just click on the songs you like and open up the Rhapsody playlist widget for that particular song. Once you have the widget open, listen to the version you think is the best. The versions that are played the most times will be deemed the best versions and will then be entered into consideration to make the final “set list” vote.

Note: Those of you who aren’t Rhapsody subscribers will have to go to here to get your free trial subscription so you can use the play list.

You’ve got your work cut out for you.

I hope we don't vote in too much of "Ten" since it already is available. I know these are all live versions, but I'd rather have songs that we can't already play, like "Wash", "Footsteps", "Down" to name a few. I could tolerate "Release", "Black", "Porch", and "Why Go" a second time. No "Jeremy" though.

Should be fun....but why did they switch to Rock Band from Guitar Hero??

IMO, GH:WT is much better than Rock Band 2 as far as game play, most specifically drums. I hate the "free form fill" sections!

I play both via the GH hardware and I bought the Ten album for RB2, but despite having all those PJ songs, I still find myself playing GH over RB 90% of the time, 'cause it's better.

They shoulda stuck with GH after 2 & 3 (Evenflow & Life Wasted...if I remember correctly)....

I agree with you! The guitar mechanics, presentation, game play on Guitar Hero is much better then Rock Band! Playing Life Wasted just kicks ass. How loud Mike's solo is at the ending kicks so much ass!

If they do release a dedicated Pearl Jam game, I hope it get's that Guitar Hero touch.

Is it not a possibility that all of the songs listed would be included? Maybe they are simply trying to determine the best version of each. I am also hoping that maybe they will make other songs available as DLC that you could add to the game later.

Rock Band 1-2 are WAY better than any Guitar Hero sequels imho...without doubts...I mean, let's have a look at the setlist...GH4 sucks big balls in this category!
+ I prefer the sound, the visuals, the downloadable content and the tour modes in RB, the latter is obviously lot more entertaining and exciting than in GH!!!

Guitar Hero Metallica is pretty good though!

I disagree. RB superior IMO (GHWT = RB1). Don't feel like debating right now ;)

Back to the real issue, yeah I'm hoping we avoid voting for much of Ten - though hopefully we get In Hiding!

    1 play = 1 vote

you have to play it all the way through the song for it to count
you will notice you have 25 plays to use go down after a complete song played

I'm not too intrigued by the whole Live album aspect... would rather studio masters. Lot of songs missing on the list for me. Why not release each album as the anniversary comes up?
