im sure in the 19 pages this thread is there is something about AC/DC's 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap'
i thought it was 'dirty d's & the thunder jeep'!!

my mom told me that back in the day, one of her friends thought that in the song 'you sexy thing' they said 'i believe in milk duds' instead of 'i believe in miracles'!! hahahaha

and speaking of misheard lyrics, there are 2 hilarious vids on youtube of misheard lyrics
one is the first video if you type in 'wishmaster misheard'
and the other is the first video if you type in 'benny lava'

  • Just about every lyric in Yellow Ledbetter is misheard to those people who havent actually taken the time to look up the recorded versions lyrics. I don't even think Ed knows the lyrics, because every show when that song is played, its completely different. :P

Well I believe the lyrics that are mostly found online, are based off of the Version from Lost Dogs, but then again, those people probably arent right anyway. It's a mystery that will never be solved.

She scratches the litter into the wall made of stone...

Thought it might be about a kitty cat, but Ed's way deeper than that.

LOL! I would like to believe Ed is a little most intellectual than that but then again, he did say that he'd rather be with an animal, so who knows, you may be right.

  • "Break her balls"....instead of Breakerfall!! That was a quote from my brother after the Hartford show....slightly intoxicated... I was crackin up....
  • Glorified version of a pelican.....from my friend...would sing Glorified G outloud and for like a month was postive it was pelican...too funny no one wanted to tell him he was way off base.....

We always used to sing it "fourty five virgins on a pelican"

And then there's the muttered phrase in the middle of Cordorouy... "I want a sandwich, I want a sandwich"

It's Alice in Chains song Rooster. For me this is one of their best songs, i love this song a lot for it's mood, tune and guitar work. But my misheard lyric is this:

"My body's breathin' his dyin' breath"

but i always hear it as

"My butt is freezing, His dying breath" :D

it's my 'buddies' breathing his dieing breath

thought it was ''im not my father'' for a long long time

i sang that out loud three years ago when i first started listening to PJ,
and i thought i was right,
but i sang it in public...
    jeesh.
  • haha i really screwed this one up...
Black Red Yellow, he sings, "Hormones firing like a fifty foot Roman, yeah."
I heard, "I'm on fire, like a fifty foot rubber man!" hahaha! it made no sense to me what-so-ever so i had to look at the lyrics. i was way off!

I'm thought that was "hormones firing like a fifty foot woman yeah"

It's a reference to an old movie aptly named attack of the fifty foot woman. a remake was made with daryl hannah i think.
  • During Jeremy,I thought

    "Jeremy spoke in class today"

    "Jeremy's broken today".
