    When ten came out, everybody in my town swore at the end of Jeremy, Ed was singing, Jeremy Spokane, Spokane, Jeremy Spokane class today!

    I know it's retarded, but it was pretty standard, in Spokane at the time.

    I love this song and hate to do it any injustice but I swore that the opening line was

    "She's an empty canvas, Untouched she's displayed
    Legs spread out before me, as her body held stiff"

    I dunno, just what I heard

    I got really confused about Sting's 'Every little thing she does'

    i honestly used to think it said something like

    'and i used to love her purple song"

    and i listened to it tonight and suddenly realised it said something like

    "and my love for her goes on"

    purple song? 19 years of my life and i hear 'purple song'???

    Here's a lesson i learned... NEVER do a trombone or trumpet sound out of your mouth in front of a Tromboner (sounds funnier than a Trombonist) or Tumpeter!... They hate it ;)

    Thanks; I can't believe that it sounded so much like my wrong lyric.......

    I guess I thought that it wasn't literal but more figurative, like, "pissed me off", etc.

    I did check into the Lukin thing, and for the life of me, I can't figure out any of the words at all. Has it ever been sung in a form that you can understand the words?

    I looked at the website that gave the explanation of what it's about, but it's the words that elude me. Even when I tried to listen to it on the Imagine....dvd, it was not understandable for me although the tune , itself without the words, is still pretty good.
