Rush could've done a better job though. They could've announce 1 date in each city from the start, see the demand then add dates in each city. I think the Foos situation might be scheduling and they currently don't know the availability of certain venues. For example, if they play Boston, do they play Fenway, if so, they don't know the Red Sox home schedule yet along with other potential events. Same can be said about Gillette Stadium, as of right now, they don't know the stadium's availability yet with preseason NFL games, MLS Revs games and they're hosting the inaugural season of the NWSL Boston team, I think all of those schedules are tbd but who really knows. They also need to play around the availability of stadiums in major cities in general next summer due to the World Cup.HughFreakingDillon said:

Hopefully Foos aren't pulling a fast one, being a current band, knowing their demand, and trying to increase it artificially. Oh Dude!0 -
Most, if not all of those Foo dates are places they did not play in the 2024 tour so I wouldn’t expect to see Boston & New York and all of them. It’s a new tour but I’d say more of an extension of 2024 then completely brand new. Boston and all those other cities in 2027 much more likely imo. M0

a cross canada tour was announced and we had tickets when TH died. I was expecting a full redo of that tour.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0
-
I don’t care one iota for/about the Foo Fighters but I think at least since Covid they’ve announced shows in drips and drabs in North America so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think there are more dates coming.
Hoprfully QOTSA is going straight across Canada and playing some shows on their own and that’s why they’re not opening in Fargo.0 -

$300 for Foo? I'm officially priced out of travelling for this tour.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Horse2345 said:Nope, same thing as Foo. GA section at the front of the stadium floor, with a plethora of seated rows behind it. Pit tix are the best, they usually command the highest price. Especially when it's a limited sized pit at the front of the floor.Concert tickets really spiked post Covid. AC/DC is a pretty big rock band, whom a lot of people thought where done. The tour was a pretty limited amount of cities/dates, which is getting pretty common. It was the only show in Canada and the Pacific Northwest, so lots of people traveled to it. It sold out like hotcakes. When the onsale happened I was watching people pick up $800 platinum tickets like they were nothing. TM would drop another two rows, and gobble gobble gobble. Maybe I should of mentioned it was $500 CAD.I don't think Foo Fighters have that demand. Mostly because they've never really stopped touring in 30 years and they've still got some gas in the tank. These bands 10 to 20 years older... that"s starting to attract you better see them now before you can't prices. To be fair tickets were also getting expensive before covid. For the Stones show in Seattle in 2019 GA Pit was $500 USD/ticket, and the seated rows right behind the pit, and closer side sections were $400/tickets. I saw GNR in Seattle when they first reunited, and it was like $225 USD for pit and that was in 2016.Springsteen pit tickets last year were $500 CAD face. Albeit a much smaller venue (Rogers Arena). The ticket prices are high, but it's not a foo fighters phenomenon. Stadium/Arena shows are getting expensive. Even with that, they still aren't commanding the prices of even more veteran acts.I am curious about the decision to play a Stadium in Vancouver. I'm not convinced the demand is there for that like it was in Seattle. Vancouver is much smaller. Alberta has their own show so Canadians don't need to travel west for it. Seattle had a show last year. My gut tells me the demand for FF in Vancouver is going to be soft. Probably means TM is going to have to drop prices down the road to move tickets. Which is what they do. Start high, then lower later on if they don't move.Post edited by Zod on0
