Back in 2011, the Foos played a series of small club shows (500 capacity and under) that they dropped hints for on Twitter and only revealed the venue at 5pm DAY OF show and it was a mad dash to the venue to get a wristband for $20. They started each show playing Wasting Light in its entirety 2 full months before the album was released, plus another 2+ hours of hits.josevolution said:So passé to do what JW just did earlier this year! Grohl is so unoriginal
And as Joe mentioned, they’ve played other small club shows several times over the years.

putting in for presales for nashville, toronto, and regina.
regina is closest, but wife can't get vacation in sept.
toronto is actually my daughter/concert buddy's 17th birthday. that would be sweet.
nashville bucket list, but US dollar and fascism puts it last on the list. lolPost edited by HughFreakingDillon onYour boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
Most likely skipping this one
Went to the Seattle show last year, so I think I'm good. Maybe if it wasn't another stadium show. I'm growing weary of Stadiums. It's crazy that arena shows feel like a treat now

There's almost a month gap between D.C. & Fargo, I'm hoping they add more dates, sort of weird no Boston, NYC, Montreal, nothing in California or FloridaTweeter Center - Aug 29, 2000;Tweeter Center - Aug 30, 2000;Allstate Arena - Oct 09, 2000;Pepsi Arena - Apr 29, 2003;Bryce-Jordan Center - May 03, 2003;Bell Center - Jun 29, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 02, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 03, 2003;Tweeter Center - Jul 11, 2003;Tweeter Center at the Waterfront - Jul 05, 2003;Tweeter Center at the Waterfront - Jul 06, 2003;Madison Square Garden - Jul 08, 2003;Madison Square Garden - Jul 09, 2003;TD Banknorth Garden - May 24, 2006;TD Banknorth Garden - May 25, 2006;Fleet Center - Sept 28, 2004;Fleet Center - Sept 29, 2004;Pepsi Arena - May 12, 2006 New England Dodge Music Arena - May 13, 2006;Grant Park - Aug 05, 2007;Bonnaroo - Jun 14, 2008;Dodge Music Center - Jun 27, 2008;Tweeter Center - Jun 28, 2008;Tweeter Center - Jun 30, 2008; XL Arena - May 15, 2010;TD Garden - May 17, 2010;Alpine Valley Music Theatre - Sept 03, 2011;Alpine Valley Music Theatre - Sep 04, 2011 Corel Centre - Sep 16, 2005;Colisee Pepsi Arena - Sep 20, 2005; Wrigley Field - July 19, 2013; DCU Center - Oct 15, 2013; DCU Center - Oct 16, 2013; Fenway Park - August 5, 2016; Fenway Park - August 7, 2016; NOS Alive Festival - July 14, 2018; Boston - September 02, 2018; Boston - September 04, 2018; Boston - September 15, 2024; Boston - September 17, 2024

maybe they're pulling a Rush. Wait to see the demand, add as necessary.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I’m just hoping QOTSA squeeze some headline dates in. Zero interest in seeing FF.0
-
Exactly what I was thinking, most likely the case, hopefully not as expensive. As nicknyr15 stated, I'm more interested in QOTSA that the Foos but QOTSA just played 2 show in Boston in June and another earlier this month, granted the June shows were make-up dates that were originally in Sept. 2024. I doubt they're going to be playing a headlining show in Boston so soon, I hope I'm wrong but if I have to see them with the Foos, so be it provided I don't need to travel too far.HughFreakingDillon said:maybe they're pulling a Rush. I hope we can sell them.0

I could see why Rush did it this way. They likely weren't sitting on those dates per se. They likely had them asd options if there was demand, but they just didn't want to take the financial risk if the demand wasn't there post-Peart.Zod said:HughFreakingDillon said:maybe they're pulling a Rush. Hopefully Foos aren't pulling a fast one, being a current band, knowing their demand, and trying to increase it artificially. But you never know.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0
