maybe they're pulling a Rush. Wait to see the demand, add as necessary.

It's cruel, if you're sitting on dates, but don't announce them all at the same time.  People buy tickets and arrange travel to the few shows you did announced, only to find out they didn't have to travel.

We're sitting on some expensive Toronto Rush tickets, but now they're playing Vancouver.  I hope we can sell them.
I could see why Rush did it this way. They likely weren't sitting on those dates per se. They likely had them asd options if there was demand, but they just didn't want to take the financial risk if the demand wasn't there post-Peart.

Hopefully Foos aren't pulling a fast one, being a current band, knowing their demand, and trying to increase it artificially. But you never know.
Rush could've done a better job though.  They could've announce 1 date in each city from the start, see the demand then add dates in each city.  I think the Foos situation might be scheduling and they currently don't know the availability of certain venues.  For example, if they play Boston, do they play Fenway, if so, they don't know the Red Sox home schedule yet along with other potential events.  Same can be said about Gillette Stadium, as of right now, they don't know the stadium's availability yet with preseason NFL games, MLS Revs games and they're hosting the inaugural season of the NWSL Boston team, I think all of those schedules are tbd but who really knows. They also need to play around the availability of stadiums in major cities in general next summer due to the World Cup.

Most, if not all of those Foo dates are places they did not play in the 2024 tour so I wouldn’t expect to see Boston & New York and all of them. It’s a new tour but I’d say more of an extension of 2024 then completely brand new. Boston and all those other cities in 2027 much more likely imo. M

a cross canada tour was announced and we had tickets when TH died. I was expecting a full redo of that tour.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer
