    Everyone had to be rooting for Tommy.  He seems like an A+ guy.  I was so happy to see him win.  

    Did my annual Michigan August golf trip last week.  My company is a sponsor for the Ally Challenge, which is the senior event in Detroit.  Ally is a client of mine.  Anyway, played three great courses up there; Franklin Hills, Oakland Hills (the MONSTER), and Wyndgate.  They were all awesome but Oakland Hills makes you feel terrible about your game.  If you are not in the fairway, just mark down the double.  You're done.

    Course looks so incredible. I know pine valley is pine valley and I’ve walked the course and it’s incredible…and looks impossible, but I’d play cypress 10 times out of 10 over pine valley

    Yeah, Europe is hungrier and has the same team that schooled the US 2 years ago.   The only advantage the US has is the crowd.  Not sure that setup really favors them that much.   If I was a betting man I would have bet the Euro squad.   Still early.  Keegan should have played.  Need people with fire in the belly.

    Crowd seems very weak for a Ryder Cup.  That's what happens when you price out the regular people and it turns into a corporate circle jerk.  Awful start for the US.  They somehow have to get out of this morning session at 2-2.

    The Europeans are more likable too.  Rory and Tommy are the fan favorites.

    Well I agree the crowd for NY is dead.
    But we are flying so I guess if this afternoon USA catch fire the crowd fuelled by beer may be different

    This is just pathetic by the Americans.  This may be over after the first session like Rome.  

    Apparently the Morikawa/English pairing was the worst possible statistical duo to put out there for the US.  I guess Keegan doesn't know what he's doing here...

    I think Europe is just better all around.  They are crushing Scottie and Bryson.  At some point you have to expect World Top 20 players to play like it.  I think Henley is #3 in the world.  I'm not going to blame the captain for blowout losses when pairing the #1 and #3 players in the world together.  It is on the players.  ALways.

    I think the course is so tame it's not really hindering euro.
    They said the Europeans are longer off the tee in most groups so therefore having shorter clubs on soft greens. Makes sense.
