    I don’t know man. The Ryder cup is always chaos and this was the storyline going in so the narrative was always going to be this. When Rory told them to shut the fuck up, they literally said “that bunker is looking awfully tasty”, granted I think his issue was more with the timing. 

    I didn’t see anything out of hand yesterday. I mean obviously there is some bad shit being said, but aren’t these euros with these poor ears hearing these abhorrent things the same ones who support soccer teams with fans who are insanely racist and literally making players cry?

    Rory had so much goodwill, and I’m still a fan, but he turned a career grand slam into being less likable, which is quite the task. 

    Moral of the story, yes I’m sure so bad shit is being said but these guys are sooooffft

    I literally had it on mute, as I do with many sporting events. I really don’t know how euro crowds behave when the ryder is over there.

    I do know the U-S-A chant has made me want to puke from almost the first time I heard it. I’d be pleasantly surprised if that tired shit wasn’t being chanted all weekend long.

    It's ok to have atmosphere but when a player addresses the ball stfu. It's simple. Trying to shout as a player is putting or hitting is just sore losing.

    I wonder about the future of the Ryder Cup.  It is a money grab.  The soul of the European team keeps it relevant. American golfers are content with their bank accounts.

    That is an odd rule.  I don't that it should be a forfeit because you don't want someone out there playing hurt to not let their team down, but perhaps have an alternate or have another match count for two points.

    I could see the argument that the alternate is coming in fresh, but they conversely don't have the experience of how the course is playing.
