Ok great but what does that mean? It used to be a poorly understood general attack from the right, and if anything it was more clearly understood as “dems are jerks” by 2024. She was center stage for the first time in her life in aug 2024, and this woke attack was on a roll
right or wrong, the Rs were ready for this fight. This was their planned intitial Kamala attack and the dems were flat footed and unprepared. The Rs knew it would work, and she shrugged her shoulders instead of taking on the special interests in her party she showed the country she was not capable of representing from the middle.
All this tells me is we just need a candidate that sells their policy positions better than she did.
You can care for the marginalized AND have sound policies that benefit the middle class. Its not running left or right or center, its connecting with these people. Woke isn't the problem, connection is. You can tell them Blacks and latinos and women and the disabled don't get a fair shake because of systemic racism/sexism/ableism AND say hey creating a more robust social safety net benefits everyone and makes for a stronger society. At the end of the day most people agree that we should treat each other fairly, but they want to see how they are taken care of too.
