It's almost impossible to make a movie that won't be accused of being woke. You'd have to make a concerted effort to do so.

the new superman movie is apparently woke as fuck.

funny that it is the same story as before, yet maga is offended by it.

if maga is offended by it, it might be worth checking out.
If the maga sycophants are offended by it, then I'm  definitely going to see it.
Might be worth buying out a showing and donating the tickets to a non-profit that supports undocumented immigrants.

There’s a new Superman movie and James Gunn the director is an inclusive dude. And a swath of Americans hate inclusion.

Well certainly they must be offended, since Superman is the ultimate undocumented immigrant.

Some people want a movie and not a lecture though.  It's why I stopped watching Supergirl and I LOVED Supergirl...

These things are never really a lecture though and maybe people should reflect on why they feel triggered if they feel it’s one

I'll tell you why.  It's supposed to be fantasy.  Not everyone wants politics in their stories.  Some people want an escape, we already have enough politics in our lives.  That is why I am triggered.
Edit: I am triggered about certain shows/movies doing this.  I have not seen the Superman film yet.  It look good actually.

I know it’s a common thought whenever “woke” comes up in general conversations and has for what seems like forever, but when someone’s first thought is ‘why do they keep pushing this stuff’ rather than ‘why is there a need to keep pushing this stuff’, it’s really a great insight to their character and empathy levels.

I have empath just not in television and movies...  If I want that I'll actually seek out that medium. Like I said I get enough of it from the news.

I should mention I LOVED Walking Dead for the Zombies, not the backstories or character development.

Sorry. That wasn’t specifically aimed at you. Just the general pushback. I should have noted that.

It’s important to note that comic book fandom is inundated with types who don’t want inclusion (from characters, creators, and from consumers). They are generally suspicious of interlopers and change. I think for many it’s generally due to the psychology of retreating into that fandom and eschews a lot of the community aspects most fandoms enjoy.

    Anyway, Comics are for Everyone.

Not all but yes some are.  If you can tell me what End Games political commentary is about I'd love to hear it. Without googling.  I won't take population control as an answer either.  B)

    Thanos does it EVERYWHERE...
