I mean, he answered the question with a reasonable response that can also be interpreted as just trying to find anyone that may be there illegally. Seems pretty similar to canvassing that police would do when investigating at a multi-unit complex. Neighbors often have information on what's going on around them. The issue would be what they asked for from those other residents. Were they forcing them to ID themselves or asking about a specific person? There isn't enough information in this little snippet to support a claim by either side, but in the absence of further evidence, there's nothing nefarious here.mickeyrat said:
targeting specific people i.e. violent criminals , suggests they should know the location of these targets. no?

Yeah, unless the unit number they have doesn't have that person in it so then they're following up with neighboring units. I don't give ICE the benefit of the doubt, but I'm also not for assuming without supporting information to the contrary. This isn't a house with single residency. Apartment complexes are a fucking nightmare for LE because of people's tendency to flop in various units, especially if they are a criminal.mickeyrat said:tbergs said:

The party’s not radicalized. The right wing has run a successful campaign to tie fringe people to the left mainstream. It started with fox news and now is hammered all day every day on social media. Don’t fall for it.battle1 said:

"You are rallying your best out here, I have to tell you." 💀I understand people like that are obnoxious, but in this case we have no context to the video (it just jumps into the amped up confrontation ) especially if that one college girl who shit herself posted it. She’s and her ilk are just as obnoxious on the other side.Post edited by Tim Simmons on0 -

Honest question. Why does it matter if they are housed in the United States or El Salvador if they aren't from either country?Tim Simmons said:

Both parties are being heavily influenced by the radicals within them lately. This is why we are getting the gross over corrections since Trump has taken office.Go Beavers said:

Both parties need to encourage their radicals to leave and start a new party. Unfortunately, both parties understand they will lose in the short term and (most) politicians are only concerned about what's best for them right now.

Maybe it would be easier to understand if you imagined this happening to a US citizen who had been accused/convicted in say Nicaragua, but they had a deal where Russia would be willing to take any criminals. To the country accepting these individuals, whether it's El Salvador or Russia, they're doing it for monetary gain or as a benefit of the deal. The concern would be about human rights and conditions once transported to these other countries to basically be forgotten about. I don't think any country should ever be shipping people from neither country to be housed in prisons. That's beyond fucked up and some real 3rd world shit. Either extradite to their home country or house them in the country leveraging charges. Anything else is basically human trafficking.smile6680 said:
