As much as I am (obviously) a Pearl Jam fan, those Idles and Fontaines DC albums slapped hard. I don't think there is a repeated lyric in Fontaines DC's Starburster. As Idles would say, "It goes and it goes and it goes."

Led Fuc$in Zeppelin only won 1 Grammy other than a Lifetime Achievement award. That’s all you need to know.0

as has been mentioned, grammy wins are like any other award show: the artist/producer/label/whoever has to go on a strong campaign to get the votes, and that often decides who wins. that's why they're all such a farce. it's not the best movie/song/album/tv show. It's who has the best marketing campaign.
and really, the Beatles are the most iconic band in the world, but that new song isn't even that much to write home about. it's cool to have "new" track from them, but it's not even close to their best work.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -

Their track record is low. The Beatles can find a lost demo in the attic and get nominated. I just hope Beyoncé doesn't put out a rock album when Pearl Jam releases theirs"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

Is it bad that I really really liked the new Stones album? It was my favourite since Steel Wheels. I play it often. I could see how it could beat Dark Matter. I'm not even sure which of the two I like better, they're both damn good.

As usual, there were a number of really fun performances. Sabrina Carpenter is just a delight. I was impressed by Doechii, who is very much not in my lane. Billie Eilish was typically great. And I was prepared to hate Charli XCX-- the whole Brat thing is so overdone-- but she was pretty fantastic. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are great performers and I enjoyed them, but I would have rather heard them do their Grammy-winning collaboration "Die with a Smile," a great song that also happens to be the current number one on the Hot 100.It's a hopeless situation...0 -
