    There was at least one guy who posted he made bookings off that "intel." Hopefully it was refundable. Unless he likes Gwen and DMB.

    Thanks, I can always count on your constant shade.  You really seem to have it out for me.  Maybe redirect your energy on some purpose in your life vs living on a message board all day.  
    It's not very labor intensive. I have excellent recall and attention to detail. It's served me well professionally, but I appreciate the concern. Easily transfers to weird areas like this or remembering baseball players. Things like "the Padres have a high risk farm" and "username vedpunk posts fugazi info" just stick.

    My Bet is Sphere, international destination, amazing venue... video in DM tour lines up for use of displays. Vegas is more of a destination that would bring in more people... the venue fee would be one reason not do Vegas.. follow the money..

    Regarding Hartford on page 135:

    Didn't they play the one year because Boston was unavailable? I can't blame them for wanting Boston over Hartford, especially in this here "fans come to us" era.

    I don't. He's posted plenty since the Lovin' Life post and I didn't have anything to say until it played out. We've also had friendly exchanges in other threads.

    There are venue holds and festival negotiations. We are booking Pearl Jam. Only to have those plans fall through or change. Personally, I do not believe any of the rumors until there is an announcement.

    IF they do a residency I believe it would be at Climate Pledge.  Easy way to keep costs down and it was discussed during the venues renovations.

    I could definitely be wrong, but you might be thinking of 2010 when instead of a 2nd show in Boston, they played Newark.

    I saw them at Jazz Fest back in 2016. Met Boom on the streets the day before the show. Really fun trip. Great non-festival setlist too. Opened the show with "State of Love and Trust"!

Get to see awesome “under the radars” like Better than Ezra, Cowboy Mouth, and future stars. A lot of funds go to local charities and it is a great cash infusion to an area that needs it. Do yourself a favor.

    Will certainly consider if Pearl Jam headlines.  Got some great friends in New Orleans, and we like to visit that beautiful city.
    You def don't have to sell me on it.  Unless you were speaking to the one's that said it was an "easy pass".
    As a music lover, Jazz Fest has always been on my radar.  But I was put off by the talks of it being too crowded.
    The food and culture alone are reasons enough to visit New Orleans.  Add Pearl Jam to the mix and it's a strong temptation for sure.

    Any festival has to be viewed as a party with Pearl Jam as the house band IMHO. I have not been to NOLA in many, many years, but I am sure I would enjoy a beer, some gumbo, and hearing live music lying on a blanket far from stage.
