Maybe I can use them not touring in 2026 as an excuse to my husband  of why I need to see EV on the West Coast this Fall. 🤔

Ok, but I really need the people in the know to give us more info on that EV fall tour - dates, cities?
Or better yet, an official announcement and ticket sales.

I need something to look forward to.

Yes. I got a ticket for N1 of Ohana, but a tour announcement would be great.

Wish I could afford going to Ohana.
Or I wish I got a ticket to the Tribeca premier. The latter I'd go in a heartbeat.

Can’t wait for the next tour.  Maybe a return to Sea.Hear.Now next fall?  Until then… Happy Memorial Day from the Jersey Shore! ✌🏻

yep me too, and I sensed the band were absolutely loving playing DM tracks when I saw them, there was an energy around them that was very real.

Would like to take this moment to remind everyone what such content-less, false hope-inducing social media posts mean. Nothing.
yeah unfortunally i think that ship has sailed and is not coming back.

this is the best scenario we have so far :

    Ed & Earthlings 2025
    September - US West Coast
    November - Australia

    Ed & Earthlings 2026
    Spring - Europe
They already did Australia last November, not going back again this soon...
Ed & The Earthlings, NOT PJ.
I have no info on this whatsoever but I have some doubts that beyond a limited run of dates on the West Coast to coincide with Ohana that other EV tours would necessarily include the Earthlings - eg. Australia or Europe next summer - at least with the established Earthlings line-up.   With it being a bit of a super-group - and none of the members main gig - its tough for them all to be available at the same time other than for short windows of time.   Ohana seems to work out quite well because several Earthlings are based nearby in LA.

I don’t know that I would see another Ed solo show unless he was playing shows after PJ broke up.  They were great, but the band is where it is at for me.  I guess I would go if playing within an hour drive.

Any other musician or band that is currently touring or together.  I could be convinced that a small number of these are better than anything but PJ but my point is that while Earthlings is not as good as PJ, if there’s a year or two of no PJ, it’s better than just about anything else out there.

I enjoy the Earthling album and like the guys in the band but there are lots of non-PJ bands I would put ahead of them. For example I’m really hoping to catch the Cure if they tour in ‘26 and if the Cure and the Earthlings were playing the same night there’s zero chance I’m seeing Ed. And I like Earthlings! But there are several bands I’m choosing ahead of them.

Gotcha. I have definitely slipped a few tiers in my fandom. EV solo shows are "pretty good if the price is right" and Earthlings shows are not of interest with so many other tours coming through.

This is exactly where I am at. Hearing Ed was putting out a new solo album had me beyond excited......then came the singles, and then the whole album. It just never flicked my switch and I havent heard it since.

Ed Solo shows were an absolute thing of beauty though. I'd happily go see him solo any time at all

Obviously I'd rather have Ed solo - loved Water on the Road; would go to a whole solo tour like that.

But if Earthlings is what we get, then I'll go.
