So, there sure are a lot fo you...there's so much traffic, we can't even get into the backend of the site without issues. The site has crashed.
I can't beleive i am even going to type this...but the sale will have to be postponed yet again until we can resolve this issue. I extremely sorry for this happening yet again, the traffic was just too much...i know there are a lot of you interested in buying some posters and I informed my web builders that there would be a ton of traffic for the launch and they seemed prepared as far as servers and bandwith...however, apparently not prepared enough. We will not be able to resolve this problem until monday at the earliest due to the fact that the web hoster cannot be reached on weekends. Figures.
To everyone overseas who has stayed up into the early morning hours again, i cannot apologize to you enough. I am really sorry this has happened. We will get this resolved, i know your time is valuable and i feel really awful right now...this is becoming ridiculous.
I will send out an email and post here when we are ready to resume....third time's a charm right?
Words cannot express how sorry i am for wasting even more of everyone's time.
Sincerely
Brad

Or maybe announce an on-sale date/time for 1 poster at a time
if you read his original posts, he said this was impossible (selling one at a time), he doesn't have a 10c like crew ready to whip these out day after day ... it's a small operation, that's why he wanted to do it all at once, only one shipping effort.
it'll be intersting to see what comes of this ... good luck to all ... and mostly to BK .."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Or just rent one for the launch...is that possible? over $1k/month seems a little steep.
Good luck to all when this happens.http://www.expressobeans.com/public/member.php?id=6105

how will this help?
then we'll have to go through this shit Multiple times per print
email or random time is the only way to go

someone needs to shoot a load on the web builders who said they were ready for the traffic

Brushdaily wrote:No it is ridiculous. Smart move to launch your site when the web engineers can't be reached.
I think he was trying to give everyone a chance. Even those who work during the week, or those overseas who have to get up at odd hours for the launch. At least launching on a Saturday it's Sunday in Oz, still time to recover a bit before the work week begins.
I work in IT QA. Shit happens. No matter how well you test when you go live all bets are off and anything can happen. And i know how awful one feels when you have to tell your customers they'll have to wait again.
Chin up Brad. Eventually all the glitches will just be a memory.

In this case, no, but if/when the site is capable of handling the traffic, would a faster connection be more advantageous over a slower connection?
