Yeah I figured no one could answer it. Never mind. Much like the DNC, this forum is about 10% of ideas and policy and 90% Orange Man Bad. Carry on with the drivel. It’s Tampon Tim’s night to shine!
I mean, the states with the highest taxes are the best states to live in. It’s pretty cut and dry.

More people are moving out of California and NY to states like Texas and Florida, States with lower taxes and more affordable housing among other things. If it’s so great wouldn’t that be opposite? (I’m talking citizens, not the 10 million illegals that came in last 3.5 years)

Kids graduate and move out of public schools. People retire.. People want to stretch their dollar so they sell their house for lots of money and move somewhere cheaper so they can enjoy their money before they die.

Quality of life indicator data is out there and there’s plenty of lists ranking states 1 - 50. Check them out and report back.

The baby boomers (the largest generation existing) are getting old and moving on in one way or another. If they are alive they don’t want to drive in cold weather or they want to live somewhere cheaper or live somewhere more age appropriate. I mean, it’s pretty obvious.

So one of the DNC convention themes other than talking about Trump 90% of the time seems to be lowering taxes for Americans.

How can Dems say that is important when states like California and NY, large Democratic strongholds for awhile now, have the highest tax rates in the country? Sales, Income and Property Tax. Is there someone here that lives in either state that can shine a light on why they are taxed at a way higher rate and what benefits do they receive compared to someone in a neighboring state that justifies that much of a higher rate.
Are you basing your question and using CA and NY as examples because you’re combining sales, income and property tax rates to declare them as “having the highest tax rates in the country?” Or are you looking at each tax rate, by type, individually? Because it makes a difference. I don’t expect you to clarify your question because “black woman bad.”

I never heard of IUI until yesterday.
Neither had I and after some quick googling it seems like an extremely stupid thing to try to bust the guy over
Most people have never heard of it unless you have to go through it. That is why it's easier for people who do go through it to just say IVF since it's very similar and to avoid having to explain the differences.

It's an extremely difficult and costly process and it takes a toll on a marriage....so most people do not want to take the time to go into details about that experience.

    Fuck JD Vance.
2 miscarriages, multiple Clomid cycles, 3 failed IUI (1 resulting in a ectopic pregnancy), and 3 failed IVF (including preimplantation genetic testing) over the course of 5-6 years was our infertility experience. The hundreds of shots I gave my wife was less than enjoyable, and seeing her go through everything she did with nothing to show for it was heartbreaking. It truly consumed every part of her being. While I understand the toll infertility can take, for us, it bonded us more than we thought possible. Nobody we knew could come close to relating to our experience. After deciding to take a break for our sanity, we opted for a puppy, and ended up conceiving on our own 4 months later. Baby #2 was a total surprise, my wife was almost in her second trimester when we found out. Wouldn't change a thing, it's our story, and if it gives someone hope, we're more than happy to share it.
    wow that's great

I have a friend that went through a similar problem (no IUI or IVF I don't believe...I think they weren't sure it could work) and they adopted a baby from China. A year or so after the adoption she got pregnant.
Wasn’t that the finale of King of Queens

Just found it odd that a candidate with no platform to speak of and short on policy has surrogates speaking on lowering taxes but taxes haven’t been lowered over 3.5 years. And the states with the overall highest taxes are states that have voted Democrat for a long time. What are they planning on changing?

you guys hold the house. hard to get anything done when the gop would rather self immolate than raise a tax, or cut them to help the middle and lower class. just the super wealthy.

I think you can stop with this disingenuous stuff. It’s clear she’s gonna extend many if not most of the Biden policies and agendas. Yes, it would be nice if they were outlined on the website but also, shit changes because life changes day to day. Also, the point of the DNC is choose a party platform -so relax. Let’s revisit this if nothing is up in a week or 2.

And positioning oneself as not the other person running, is a legitimate position. Because as much as you have railed against people voting for a ‘best friend president’ or ‘vibes’ or whatever, the bottom line is, that’s how most people vote.

You didn’t clarify your question. You avoided it. And your question, without clarification, is bunk right out of the gate because CA and NY aren’t the highest, depending on many factors for all three categories of taxes you mentioned. Disingenuousness is the order of the day.

Just found it odd that a candidate with no platform to speak of and short on policy has surrogates speaking on lowering taxes but taxes haven’t been lowered over 3.5 years. And the states with the overall highest taxes are states that have voted Democrat for a long time. What are they planning on changing?

I’ll make it easier for you to understand. Why are taxes generally higher in states that have been controlled by the Democratic leaders for decades(California, NY, New Jersey, Illinois). What benefits do citizens of these states have over citizens in states with lower taxes or no state income tax at all (Texas, Florida, Nevada).
