Not a big fan, but I actually like her better than Joe.  Easy to vote for over Trump.  Let’s hope this Hail Mary connects.

Oooh, NY Post tabloid gossip. If only someone would define "too left" as it relates to a former prosecutor who was not liked by the "too left" politicians in 2019/2020 because of her said role.

If by "too left" they are referring to the normal democratic initiatives to support the lower income through tax relief and loan forgiveness, yep, that's probably accurate.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I’ve realized something. When the Trump-supporting Republicans on here perceive strength from Democrats, they show up more often, speak with more venom, and call everyone names. The petty and childish arguments are clear signs of fear.

I also don’t feel that many or any of these posters have engaged in any semblance of respectful or dignified or genuine discussion, and so I hope they aren’t surprised when no one really cares what they have to say about how Democrats should or shouldn’t behave. They have no standards for their own side, and their words about how Democrats should govern themselves aren’t worth paying any attention to.

POOTWH’s cognitive test results will be released along with his tax returns, physical exam results, the better, less expensive healthcare plan, infrastructure week and whatever else he can pull from his inside suit jacket pocket, wave around and snap his suit jacket closed with and appear “tough”. All in about seven to ten days, many people are saying.

Exactly why I have put some people here on ignore.  If they wanted to discuss in a genuine and civil manner, I would be happy to engage.  But the stream of memes, and attempts to merely instigate, bate, and talk nonsense is not worth anyone's time- certainly not mine!  The more they are ignored, the more likely they are to go find some other hobby or whatever it is they get out doing what they do here.

I don't understand why I always hear that she's so damn liberal. Wasn't she a "tough on crime" pro-cop prosecutor at some point? Isn't not being liberal enough part of what sunk her in the primaries a few years ago?

I suppose the going right-wing line is how far left the Dems have gone, which is based on nothing as far as I can tell. Then again, I'm expected to believe the Elon Musk who voted for Obama has stayed the same and it's the party that's shifted...

Her “liberal-ness” stems from her staunch advocacy of abortion rights and by extension, women’s rights, advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community and her prioritizing of prosecuting domestic and child abusers. All of which is a threat to the JD Byryders of the world but specifically to the incel, misogynistic and “traditional family values” portion of the populace.

No, he's tiptoeing around the subject pending a "leadership meeting." My bad.

I tend to believe that he's the reincarnation of Goebbels. Goebbels had a deformed leg and was in poor health yet screeched on and on about the "master race." Miller is a Belarusian Jew who is xenophobic and apparently completely oblivious to twentieth-century history (the "master race" thought little better of Slavs than they did of Jews). It's really something.

Oh, and I forgot her conviction rate for gun crimes. You know, the ones repubs claim they want prosecuted because they’re the “responsible” gun owners and the gun crimes are committed by the “other.”

I also look forward to the shit show of Project 2025 being implemented and folks waking up to it in 2027 and 2028 when they realize they were had. Although, for some, that realization will never happen. They’ll still be blaming Hillary and Barack.

The end of the USA as we knew it is just around the corner.

I hate the smell. The social libertarian in me thinks it should be legal...and I do. But I would benefit from the smokable becoming far less prevalent. I live in St. Paul and go for lengthy bike rides. Most areas near population or sizeable parks smell of it with frequency.
