No, that's where you are fundamentally mistaken. Trump is impulsive and foolish. It was foolish to praise Xi and it was foolish to call it the "China virus" because we have citizens who are Chinese in origin and attacks on them escalated significantly during the pandemic. He didn't have to do either of the wild pendulum swings that he did. We ran hit and run get in and get out operations, then back tot he safe zones... and that is not sustainable.. we've proved that. Every day Russia is capturing territory. Hell their government has been at war with the eastern provinces since 2014.. Those areas really haven't been part of Ukraine since the overthrow (Coup) of the government. Russia will give in the peace talks by stopping aggressive maneuvers further into Ukraine and will probably pull back to an agreed line.mrussel1 said:

I know I will get hate for that, but the truth is the truth.. The sooner peace talks begin the better for everyone involved..
Ukraine will also have to not become part of NATO... if none of this can be agreed upon then over time Russia will take all of Ukraine and the only thing we can do is start WW3 to stop them. i'm guessing most clear thinking people would not want that... so Ukraine would be sacrificed.
IMHO this peace would probably have already been agreed upon without the meddling and weapons from us..
