I spent years trying to wish the Fenway shows into existence. Can't be too bothered by others trying to do the same.___________________________________________

Thanks Go Animal for all that you do! I always appreciate and enjoy reading about the rumors regardless of whether they turn out to be true (that is, after all, why they’re called rumors). Fingers crossed we get some dates soon!0

1. PJ has not played Lolla Chicago in 15 years.
2. PJ has played multiple other Lolla's over the past 15 years, so it seems like they play nicely with the promoters.
3. Metallica, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Jack White have all played Lolla over the past 2 years, making each less likely to show up in '23.
4. Red Hots and Iggy Pop would seem like solid 2023 touring acts for adding rock credibility to Lolla..However, Iggy is in Poland on 8/4 (not a total Lolla rule out, but not very likely). The Chilis will have just wrapped a European tour on 7/24, after having played AU/NZ/Mexico/CA/US dates earlier in the year. Regardless of their rigorous touring habits, they probably need to break, and break out the Bengay at some point (not a total rule out, but Lolla doesn't seem very likely).
5. Who else is left as a major rock touring act? 3 acts that seem even less likely: Bruce, Paul, and Da Stones.

Appreciate the love guys🤗at the end of the day, like on2legs said, I'm just trying to keep people enthusiastic. And like Weston said, news is harder to come by nowadays. If nothing else, MAYBE this stuff helps some Faithfull save on refundable air fare & hotels (let alone help them plan their time off) by getting SOME (or any) dates right.
Til then, the waiting drives us mad lol35 years, 35 shows.

Totally valid. BUT, I don't see Ed doing Earthlings shows without Chad. He's "the boss" & "the engine" according to Ed, lol. There was an article that came & went about Iggy's tour. I thought The Losers were Howard Stern, Gary Dell'Abate, Scott Salem, etc. Ha.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0

If we look at anything that makes remote sense, we can kind of begin to put pieces together when rumors fall apart.
With the Foos playing Ohio in late May, it's probably safe to assume PJ won't be anywhere in the vicinity in late May, amirite?
With these Philly rumors not dying, if someone heard something solid about a show/shows in the area, maybe it gives Philadelphia more traction.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
