Still waiting on Ottawa.  I'm in US.  TM tells me they will add to my debit card on file.  My wife sold Canada tickets via F2F and originally they told her since she sold on another site, it's not their problem. She sold on TM F2F.  She showed them order history then they said they will mail a check in 12 weeks. I assume they'll be sending a check for my tickets too. Some day.  This is such bullshit.  Don't understand why they can take money immediately for purchase but takes so long to refund. Thinking about challenging this through my credit card.

Be nice if Ten Club put a little heat on TM about this.
Same here. First they said i could use an US Bank account. Yesterday they emailed me. Now i can obly use an Canadian Bank account. They are gonna try to wright me a check, wich could take up to 12 weeks. What a big joke Ticketmaster is still is in 2022. There light years away from the technology everybody uses right now

Can someone tell me what email you are using to communicate with Ticketmaster? I'm in the US and sold Hamilton tickets.
Go to past events and click on the ticket you want info on. Bottom right should have a floating contact us link. Click that then go through all the bullshit to talk to a live agent. Should talk to someone in 24hrs or so.
Just be prepared to wait hours for responses and get conflicting information with each response. A week ago they told me it was sent for processing and I'll get a debit soon.  then when I checked back they said I need to add my bank account in addition to my debit card.  so I did but never got the two small deposits.  now this morning they say something is wrong and they escalated my concerns and that I should hear something in 3-5 days.  meanwhile, for the same show they've told my wife they will be sending her a check in 12 weeks in canadian funds.  We are in US and paid with US funds.

The people operating the chat don't have a fucking clue.  The whole thing is a total clusterfuck.

Actually you paid in CAD funds for the Canada shows -- your credit card pays TM in the foreign currency and adds the equivalent USD (at the time) to your statement. Then the F2F purchaser also pays in CAD which is what ticketmaster owes you for the sale.

This is so bizar. Today i told them that here in the Netherlands our banks dont accept checks. The answer i get to my question is exactly the same you did. They escalated my concerns and i should here something in 3-5 days :) haha

tenclubsupport@ticketmaster.com.   But I think that this goes to Tickets Today and they will say they "don't offer resales support".

Be nice if Ten Club would issue a Psst... on this.  But not holding my breathe.

Would that work if you already had a bank account listed at the time you made the listing? I wasn't sure if you could switch banks for past sales that haven't been paid

I'm still waiting. This is actually a joke.  I've done the 1099 form, bank account info, etc.  Tickemaster really sucks.  I'm in canada waiting on canadian show refunds.

They said 7 days from the show date.  Not to sound crazy dramatic, but is there a case for a suit here?  Especially with this bs about US/CA currency.  It’s ridiculous.

About to just give up on these CA tickets I've sold. What statements to their support are going to shortcut me to getting a check in the mail? I'm trying to claim y'all reached a point where it was the only way and they still want me to verify my account for direct deposit.

Tell them you're at your wit's end and mention that you need to speak to someone that can get you a check - mention that the issue is that CAD funds can't be deposited into a US account. I went back and forth for a month - was awful, then got testy with them. Even then, I have to wait 12 weeks for a paper check to come to me.....in Canadian funds. They are a nightmare. I BETTER get the check, too. Sorry this happened for you too.

"We sincerely apologize for the delay of your payment for the tickets sold.
After further review, we can see you have posted a Canadian event without having a CAD bank account.
We were able to send out a check request.

"Please note this process takes 12 weeks.
You posted for a Canadian Event, that was in Canadian Dollars, and the check you receive will be in Canadian Dollars.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Reached out again today - still no resolve.  Have 5 pending sales that they are withholding funds from now.

Will be last time I ever buy Canadian tickets before day of show as a US citizen

It feels so wierd that TM refuses to deposit foreign currencies in a bank account.  I can pay with Visa Debit on both my Canadian and US accounts, and if I do it in the opposite currency the bank converts it automatically to the currency of the account (and of course charges a solid premium on the FX rate for doing it).

Why does TM not want to do that?  Are they worried about the complaints people would give if the value refunded wasn't the same as the value bought because of FX differences (and FX fees)?

Just received an email requesting I complete a resale check request for the US tickets sold.

Got the same email saying to either add a Canadian bank account or to request a check. It said there's a "Payment by Check" request form but I don't see it on the email or in my account.
