    Bush was not to blame for the 2008 financial crisis, as an example. He did not handle it particularly well personally, but the Fed actually did and I was a huge supporter of TARP.

    We are totally screwed for the mid terms - no doubt we lose the house and senate.  This won't happen, but the only way to save 2024 is do what Clinton did and admit where things went wrong and come towards the middle.  Clinton did an amazing job is damage control and therefore saved 96 for the Dems. It's the crazy far left 5% of our party that is killing us as this is what the press and the right is exploiting (and the majority of Americans are against).  We need to get back to the party we were in the middle left and not make everything a fuck Trump issue - he isn't president and wont be again.
