I thought the sales for Chicago were bad (Sat night in SP’s hometown). Just looked at Milwaukee, wow. I’m sure it will fill up with promos and giveaways, but the schadenfreude towards TM, LiveNation and resellers right now…I’m risking an overdose. TM has been out of control lately with this platinum bullshit. Getting what they deserve here.

Must be a small run?   I mentioned it before.  Siamese Dream was at a few of my local Walmarts for a solid 2 years up until maybe January.   Both copies I bought were really warped.

It is a small run. It’s just crazy how massive the demand is for them

I bet a lot of the gray ones are going to end up as radio station give aways and the like. In all markets.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Stalked PRR last night figuring they would have a few. Newsletters go out all over the map. One week 7:30, last night after 10 CT. Gave up 2 minutes before it dropped and fucking missed another MCIS drop.

That drop was late. It hung around at least 20 minutes, so they got quite a few.

Edit: just checked 10:08… that’s brutal

Siamese dream didn’t drop yesterday. It did 30 minutes ago.  You can get lucky on a random restock email.

Those to me are easier anyway than the Thursday ones just need MCIS to do that

Got my Siamese Dream over the weekend (ordered from Deep Discount). It's the 2011 pressing. MCIS should be here in the next few days.

Does anyone have a lead as to where these two titles may still be available for purchase online?
  • Tim SimmonsTim Simmons Posts: 6,864
check your local. I"m sure most stores (if they ordered) will be getting a few copies. This was not a massive repress though.

Music direct allows you to backorder it appears. So they must be reasonably confident of a restock.

I’ve never tried it, but it may save you from stalking drops at all random times of day.

Now if they have a habit of cancelling these kinds of orders I’m sure someone will chime in I don’t know

Just because MD takes orders on BO'd releases, doesn't mean they'll get them in.

Really the best bet is to call your local. Or follow some of the bigger online retailers. I don't think Bullmoose, Zia or Rough Trade have gotten these yet.

Drove 2 hours to see these clowns in Virginia tonight and they canceled 30 minutes before doors opened.

Second time trying to see them, second cancellation.  Done trying.

Good luck with your arena tour that has 14 tickets sold so far.

If I didn’t live 10 minutes from the arena, no way I buy tickets.

I’d put money on most/all of the arena shows not happening. It’s a safer bet than betting they do happen

The venues Facebook page is arguing with fans, sad state of concerts were in.  Fans calling venue and band out for ticket sales and venue trying to say it was “almost sold out”

    The best two cancellations:

Billy was to play the national anthem, but instead just made an appearance wrestling.
2000-07-22 - Peoria Civic Center, Peoria, IL

Show canceled because the Pumpkins couldn't secure the venue due to a gymnastics competition.

Are they playing with Jane's Addiction on this part of their tour? I saw that Navarro had Covid, so they subbed Porno for Pyros in for Jane's at the festival show they had in Daytona. Of course, why the Pumpkins couldn't still play this show, no idea.

James was actually too sick not long ago to attend some type of ceremony the rest of the band attended. I get the history, just saying it's possible it's legit.

Oceania tour had a stop in Winnipeg. 13,000 seater. 4,000 people. it was kind of embarrassing. But I do get it. not many people these days want a full album show unless it's one of their "classics".
