If they sell platinum tickets, just wait for the thread where people lose the 10 club lottery where the tickets are $100 and then the equivalent seats are $750 through Ticketmaster.0

Some of us only had that show, and we don't care about how good it is for news on the rest of the tour.estarr31 said:The BAL news sucks for that show but this honestly is good news for the tour IMO. Means they're making moves. BAL only getting cancelled b/c that arena is undergoing renovations until Feb 2023. Cancellation is a last resort for them.
It has zero bearings on a Fall tour as well. They could play in BAL or just skip it and play PHI/NY which is probably the original plan.
It's even more salt in the wound that there's literally been no communication straight from the band yet, with the exception of that news blurb from yesterday that is buried on the site. There are probably people who still don't know.
I'm REALLY struggling with not being too negative. I'm not even mad; it was expected... I'm disappointed with how it was handled.JimmyV said:

Everything about this - how the EV tour was prioritized, how there was no updates on rescheduling, and to find out secondhand through the forums / TM that the event was cancelled without any emails or social media update - it all just rubs me the wrong way.
Also tired of the people saying, "it was completely out of the band's hands; they did everything they could" - while that might be true with regards to the renovation, they could've been FAR more transparent about the how they communicated ANY of it to the fans. Let us know that you're trying hard to reschedule, but do it *while* you're rescheduling - don't tell us in conjunction with telling us that the show has been cancelled.
This band is still the one I follow most and have the highest interest in, but their organization is also guilty of being occasionally bad with the customer-facing aspect of the relationship.
3-4 years to deliver the final fan club singles.
Cancelling Raleigh with an unfulfilled promise to return when the law was changed.
Infrequency of communication with ticketholders for the past 18-24 months.
I love 'em and I don't stay mad at 'em. Life is way more important than a singular focus on the rock band. Also, all people have flaws. It's just that it can be a downer to feel like your dollars and your dedication don't get met with a reciprocity of sorts.0 -
Maybe Raleigh gets the fall treatment...0

Oh wow. I honestly don’t see that happening today (10c intervening). Good story though - will have to find the thread.100 Pacer said:

What a wacky thread. I can’t believe it went on for 17 pages, people reading into it like lawyers. Did he call the Tribune?

Some, but I can't imagine they're going to sell 300-level (or even mid-tier) seats as platinum seating unless they come with some really nice perks.

Keep an eye on social media. Any tour info that is in the newsletter will invariably be posted there well before the emails arrive.

The only reason they would give that heads up though is if we are getting something new or if they are doing another draw for all of the refunds. Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out! My wish is we get all of 2022 all at once. Very unlikely I know.Weston1283 said:All it takes is a "please ensure your membership info is up to date" in tomorrows newsletter to completely change the course here

If they do ballparks this year (I think that was mentioned somewhere in this thread), you'd assume that would have to be announced pretty soon.PJNB said:

It's impressive how confidential the tour information is kept and there are no leaks especially if the tour is going to start in May.0
-
One reason why I'm skeptical. This is the Counting Crows announcement from earlier today. Rescheduled dates and cancellations all in one. I feel like if a PJ announcement was imminent Baltimore would have been handled similarly.
