New lottery happens, all lottery winners from 2020 and 2022 are combined and seniority determines seating no matter when you bought. Not saying I like this, having tix since 2020, but that’s just how I think it will be. Seems like the easiest way for them to do it.
0% chance this happens.
So that means you know the way it will play out. Do tell.
Ok, 1% it happens. And if it does, the band can go fuck themselves lol.
I've been patiently holding onto GA Pit tickets for Denver and good seats for San Diego. I'm one of the lucky "higher number" fan club members that signed up before the 2020 ticket lotto and somehow was fortunate enough to snag GA for Denver and some really really really awesome seats for the San Diego show.
I've received countless emails from 10c, Ticketmaster, etc stating my tickets would be seats would be valid for the rescheduled shows.
If they fuck this up and decide to do a new lottery for everyone who's been holding onto their tickets for the last two years that will be the last straw for me.
I get it, there will be bitching no matter how this plays out. I’m ok keeping my existing seats, but would love it if I was moved up based on canceled tix.

How many people are going to see that refund deadline and get their money back today only to see those tickets resold at new price points next week? Just an ugly situation.
And there's absolutely no way another refund window won't be opened once (or maybe I should say if) new dates are announced. It would be a completely unethical business practice otherwise. So, folks should wait.

It will be an ugly situation if we can't request a refund when they announce new dates and expect all of us to sell tickets on behalf of Ticketmaster if the new dates don't work through Fan2Fan.
TM / PJ: "Thanks for holding onto the tickets for 2 years. I hope you can find someone to buy these tickets for the new dates." I just can't see us not having the option to request a refund after the tour announcement.

Ten club really doing awful job here. No question about it. I truly believe the band deeply cares for its fans so not sure the disconnect here. Whatever it is, it’s unacceptable. PJ fans aren’t Foo Fighters fans, meaning we travel. They don’t. But then again, luckily for them, they don’t need to..

Hint that something is coming soon and a weekend full of hype and speculation is my pic.
Agreed. If I remember correctly we started getting Gigaton teasers on a Friday, tour was announced on the Monday. I’d guess we have news as soon as this coming Monday, but at latest two weeks from now.

I think some of my rage about this comes from the embarrassment that I'm 46 years old and waste this much time making others rich. Shame...shame...shame. It's time for Pearl Ticket Nation Jam Today to announce the damn dates.
Maybe they're working on some new stuff w/ A. Watt while they have a min? I know Eddie had alluded to it in an interview. That's my unfounded theory as to the delay.

Ten Club follows the lead of PJ Management. I guess Ten Club has to be the scapegoat though as it isn't like we can post on Ed or Stone's message board. I don't know even know if the band has a clue or cares about whether the tour has been announced or not. They probably just get an email from Management saying clear your personal schedule for these dates and they show up when told.

I can get where you're coming from to a point, but I tend to think of it, overall, as a joyous and mutually beneficial between humans! I'll go run behind my snow fort and wait for you all to lob some snowballs at me!

I knew there was a reason I was saving this snowball in the freezer the last three months. I think it isn't too much to ask that the people actually fronting the money should be afforded the respect of communication and appropriate lead time for clearing schedules. In most businesses (right or wrong), it is the person with the money (customer) that is always right. PJ was lucky to find the business where it is flipped.

I agree, 100%. I was really responding to Noload's comment about making PJ rich and that my perspective is that its been a joyous exchange of music, and love all these many years.

They are very lucky. They have achieved that with their fantastic, setlist always changing, live shows and us as fans are the ones that allow it to happen. The other option I guess is not to see shows which for me is not an option at all. I will say coworkers of mine are sick of me whenever I bring up vacation though. I envy those who can just drop everything with very little notice and follow this band.

To be fair, ticketmaster's actual policy is to offer refunds when a show is rescheduled and the new dates are announced. I've had it happen a few times over the last year and had no issues.

Face to Fan changes things for sold out shows though that those apply to. If you go to a city and do not have tickets and you have a BAL like situation for tickets you will not get in very likely.
My guess is a teaser in the newsletter on the 10th about keeping membership current/up to date/stay tuned then announcement the following Monday. We'll see.

This is my strategy for the Paul McCartney shows too.
And I just want to repeat myself when I note that once McCartney wraps up his second night in Seattle he will have played Seattle more often, since 2013, than Pearl Jam. Setting aside the justified frustration that the band has held on to our money for two years and still hasn't announced a plan for when they'll fulfill that contract, the truth is that the band hasn't toured that much for years and appears to be uninterested in touring again. At some point our enthusiasm for a band that barely functions anymore is on us.
I did, however, see McCready play with Jason Isbell in Seattle. That was cool. Good cover of Jimi Hendrix. Pair that with the Eddie Vedder show, and all I need is to see the other guys in their side projects this summer and my "Pearl Jam" 2022 concert viewing will have happened.
